I’m going to get a dirt bike soon. I haven’t ridden a dirt bike in over 30 years so I’m a beginner (again). It seems to me the KX250 is the best option for me. I can’t wait to go ride in the dirt again.
Might be getting this bike in a few weeks-months. Suspension won't be an issue because I'm going to get that professionally redone by my dad's friend. I'm going to get a new Hinson clutch and some other components. My dad has a 2023 kx450sr and that is why I'm getting it, well and because I grew up on Yamaha and Kawasaki but I've ridden every major bike brand. I'm 15, 5'6, 110lbs and can ride a 250 2-stroke and 4-stroke staying caught up most of the time with amateur riders. Kind of accensive but I have the skill to do so. I skipped a 65, 85, and rode a 125 for a few days and then went straight to a 250. I've rode a 450 around a circle flat track but nothing crazy but I do have the skill to ride on of those too. Only reason going straight to 250 is because of money, cheaper to learn a 250 then buy a 125 and a 250.
The music during the interviews is quite annoying
The music.....not cool, we want info and engine noises 😅 and second test rider said the forks were soft...everyone else whos tested one says they are stiff and need to change spring rates...the dude didn't look heavier than180 lbs
If you had the choice to buy a new or like new 2021 or 2022 KX250F.
Prior to.it sharing the KX450 chassis. Would that be a better option?
It seems like the new one doesn't corner as well!
It's basically the same bike as the 2021 kx250 nothing really much changes just some accessories but its all the same
@hectorfrias1582 Thet started using the 450 frame for both the 250 and 450 and now the shootouts always complain about the cornering
Yeah that's true i own a 2021 kx250 with the 450 frame and trust me i gotta admit this bike is absolutely awesome 🤘😎
