For those still having trouble with this, make sure that before you do the flick, you take your hand that's at the top of the shirt, and take it BEHIND your hand that's holding the middle, and not in front. I was making that mistake for a while.

This is awesome. I just folded like 50 t-shirts in like 10min, maybe less.
You don't have to trace those lines with your fingers after a while and it works every time.
This is sorcery... Every time I do this it magically ends up with the front facing inwards no matter how I flip it or flick it or pinch it... It's black magic.. It just does not work...
You're probably not bringing the shoulder-pinch hand BEHIND the waist-pinch hand.

That's cuz this is crap. I have a way faster and less confusing way. Just hold the shirt up where the seams meet by ur thumb and forefingers, making sure the top seams r straight. Then use ur ring fingers to fold the sleeves back and use a flat surface to fold the shirt over. With some practice, I have worked up to Hollister level folding on good days!

Seriously people... Here is a tip
You need to look where she grabs the shirt at "step 3 pinch two" (it's very close to the collar)
Then you simply do a narrow line to the middle and grab the shirt there "pinch one"
This is when you should be positioned just right
Then simply pull the piece you hold with the left hand BEHIND your right arm straight down to the bottom
I hope this helps
All you need is coordination first time you do it right and you'll never do it wrong again

this is a great video! I learned it in short order! I had a challenge with which arm should cross over the other. since doing it backwards seems to muck it up.

@testinator1234 firstly, you can use your bed (assuming its made). Secondly, it doesn't take that long to put something flat. And instead of only grabbing the top layer to lift it up why don't you put your fingers underneath it.
First of all, fir this to work, you have to place your right arm UNDER your left arm for this to work. However, if you pinch on the opposite side of the T-shirt, in other words the side that is farther stairway from you, you can cross your right arm OVER your left arm and it works perfect. Less awkward to do it that way.

So in case people don't really understand the problem I'm having. When I move from pinch two to pinch three, the head-part of the shirt naturally folds on front of the forefinger (right hand). Then I assume I should release the grip from that part and grab the bottom-part, while still keeping the thumb in place. Then when I move my right hand back to "flick" the shirt, I end up having the forefinger inside the fold (which is shaped like a CC-rotated J seen from the top), not on the front of it.

If you're the type to fold your shirt into thirds, lay the t shirt down and fold the bottom third behind the shirt. Do the usual first pinch near the shoulder, but your second pinch should be just low enough down the shirt to grab four layers: the top two plus the two layers of the part you folded behind the shirt at the beginning. Then proceed to perform the steps in the video as usual.

Some people are so daft. The video is 2 mins long because they broke it down step by step. Do it all in one go and it does take two seconds - ive done it myself and it works! If it takes longer then ur not doing it right.
