I've been a cop for 8 years now and we generally get assigned to one car unless it's undergoing maintenance or something happened. So if they're working your shift, you generally know what car number someone is in.
Poor shmitty also you need to be firm with your boundries or your roommates might take advantage (dont get me wrong there are some that wont but its better to be safe) its okay to have some that are more flexible (no others over without letting your roommate know is a semi good one that would need to be handled on a case by case basis) but have a line and stand firm or they might not even think its a boundry
