He'd have been absolutely justified to, at the very least, write all of them tickets for taking part. Given that the fine could be as high as $1000 plus up to a year in jail (unlikely in this case, but still on the table), Nolan would have absolutely had the last laugh if he'd be able to keep his cool throughout the process, especially since he is being recorded. Frankly, I don't even think the bassist or choir would be able to claim ignorance - they had to have practiced the song beforehand, and, once they saw the cops were in uniform and thus likely on duty, they should have stopped immediately if they wanted to claim ignorance of how and why the cops showed up. Still funny, though.
