I thought there was actually a missile in Sabine's jetpack. The small cone at the center on the top is the head of it. It doesn't have the range of like others that Mandalorians use, but it still packs a punch when it detonates. There was a point in the series where I think either she fired it or someone else with the same kind of jetpack fired one. I don't recall which episode it was, but I'm pretty sure it was either season 3 and/or 4.

Lots of cool stuff with Sabine visiting Mandalore, Bo-Katan, ect... but Ahsoka and the Armourer could make for some great scenes. Both are quite mystically attuned. Anyways... They learn the Darksaber was destroyed, and Huyang makes some comment about how that is a pity because it was such an interesting and unique design (maybe something about how it was actually designed to be superior at defense). Maybe it requires some pure beskar to make. The Armourer customizes Sabine's armour to be more fitting for her hybrid fighting style, and Huyang, and Ahsoka make Grogu a little white version of the Darksaber using one of crystals from Ahsoka's lightsabers.

You know,, I've been watching your stuff since Andor and have completely neglected to subscribe until now. Well, now the deed is done. Keep up the excellent work!
Imagine: Mandelorians with ysalamiri frame beskar backpacks, keeping their fuzzy little friends safe, and blocking their Jedi's abilities to use the Force around them. I'm kind of surprised none of them have thought of that.
Number one, I truly enjoy his backgrounds. In one video it is a skyscraper view. In another it is a plush backyard. Number two, I often imagined a Jedi wielding a light saber and a blaster in battle simultaneously. Number three, I miss the ending, "If you are watching this you are Generation Tech."
Ehh she's even more of an outcast than Din was. She abandoned her culture in its entirety Grogu's more likely to become a Mandalore than Sabine Hell she had the opportunity and gave it away to Bo-Katan
I’m not sure she’s gonna become a Mandalore. But once she finds her niche, she’ll be a force to be reckoned with, even if she has banal control of the Force.
Cause from episode one she's already invincible? 😂 The show begins with her being gut stabbed, and because of the retconning in Book of Boba, we now know even impure Beskar can deflect any and all blaster fire. Shes unkillable, and we all know she's gonna develop her skills unbelievably quickly. No more long training arcs like what Ashoka had to slow through. I don't see a reason to get attached to someone when there are no stakes for them. I just respect the show for being upfront about it from the beginning.
@@sinistersweet5236 I don’t think they’ll pull a jedi leia or Rey palpatine with Sabine. She has plot armor+ sure but I don’t think she’s getting too big of a power boost out of nowhere. The show this is named after on the other hand….
1000% agree! Sabine needs to just embrace what already makes her a badass and consider the lightsaber just another weapon to add to her arsenal. Not get hung up on the precognition that she doesn't have the force sensitivity for anyway.
I am hoping Sabine combine her training to make her a warrior with lightsaber and a more defensive use of the force instead of being more offensive with it. And ofcourse her mando gadgets hope is incorporated with her jedi training
Something I’ve been thinking about since the Ahsoka show came out; why is it that we haven’t seen any Jedi or Force user that matter with the ability to fly? Not just jump really high but actually fly around like Mandalorian with a jet pack would? It would obviously be a very high level ability, but I would think high level Jedi Masters like Yoda, Qui Gon, Anakin/Darth Vader, and especially Palpatine would be able to use the force to propel themselves through the air
When it comes to Sabine's Mandalorian Vambraces, I am the only one who notices the coloring and patterns match that of her family's armor which we see in the following episode of Rebels? Makes me wonder where Fenn Rau got them from and might be why he glossed over it.
I’d love to see Sabine becoming non-Force sensitive version of Tar Vizla. I’d like to see her bring her style of Mandalorian combat together with Jedi combat.
The one thing about sabine wren is in what I have seen of her armor there missing 2 things she (in rebels) changes her armour paint scheme especially after (being one of only seven to survive vader in direct story line) Vader's attack she always kept the phionix symbol and the owl symbol which in a way shows her struggle with her people and family and a tribute to her mother and family as ercilla wren was a night owl in death watch and it is a subtle hint of morilie the owl of ashla that follows ashoka a hint of sabine future by dave filoni and he is famous for developing/ revealing characters over time.
I think the USA would be a better example of Mandalore. One country composed of diverse people ( originally ) from elsewhere, all with a common idea of what the USA stands for.
I don't mind the sabine padawan arc, I just thought it wasn't foreshadowed, which made it feel like it was a sudden idea thrown in. I still haven't seen anything which makes me think they foreshadowed it. I even went back and watched your recent videos about sabine, and I still see nothing. Besides, we already have a force sensitive madalorian, grogu. Great video though, love it as always.
1:07 It's weird how we don't think about that simply because it's been ages since we've watched Rebels. Sabine is a seasoned fighter and has a sizeable arsenal to her name, yet is shown as nothing more than an inexperienced padawan to Ahsoka. Sabine could've easily defended herself against Hati had she actually came down wearing her armor and gadgets specifically designed to take down Force wielders, yet she just appeared in front of Hati like a wannabe Jedi. When her whole religion revolves around killing Jedi. Unlike other people in the comments, I genuienly don't want to see Sabine wielding the Force. While a method to increase someone's midichlorian count sounds plausible, it would just be a way for Disney to make everyone overpowered. I know it would be really idiotic to end up with her actually utilizing her mandalorian armament when that's all she did during Rebels, but I feel like it's the only way to make her justice. She is not a Jedi. She doesn't have to be.
Grievous did the blaster/lightsaber move on Kit Fistos former apprentice on the third moon of Vassek and Kanan tried to use that move on the grand inquisitor on Tarkins ISD.
I'm thinking about it It seems like Sabine has a very similar loadout to boba Fett aside from her rocket launcher jetpack which she doesn't have. So she is built to move around her loadout is oriented towards that ability to move around. And the fact that she has an advanced helmet rather than what's probably a low-end helmet like didn't have so yeah having that little targeting system on her helmet is probably going to be pretty cool when you know it'd be really cool if they switch to a first-person perspective from her for a sort of fight scene where she has to kind of blast her so instead of us watching them exchange and stuff it switches to her POV and you just kind of see targeting reticle and those moving around as she moves her blasters and then she starts firing and it just be really cool to have kind of you know a short stint where she clears a hall or something like that. Pew pew pew pew
We've seen that beskar can be forged into chain mail. What's to say it can't be forged into thread like strands that could be interwoven into a pressure suit? Sure, it wouldn't be as protective as a plate of beskar, but it could provide some protection.
I feel like it should also be pointed out that the last time we had a Mandalorian Jedi was Tarre Vizsla, so this is also a pretty big historical moment in-universe. Plus, between this and how Kyle Kestis developed through his own story arc, we've got a great recipe for reinventing how the Jedi fight and conduct themselves going forward.
Vince Papale was an American football wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1970s but wore q quarterback's padding because he found his own pads too heavy to play in
Clones killed no more than 10k jedi while mandalorians have been in wars with force users for tens of thousands of years and fought jedi when they were at their most numerous and most likely have over a million force user kills
If I were Force-sensitive, I'd *still* want those Mandalorian vambraces. Imagine using telekinesis to direct the whip and flame in unexpected directions.
Alan, you do know that you can just compared the Mandalorians to the Vikings and the Mongols, right? And by that, I mean when it comes to how warlike they are.
We also have the Jedi and Mandalorians coming together with Grogu, but he's the reverse, a Jedi being trained in Mandalorian ways. Grogu depends heavily on Force powers and robot suits, and it may be a while until he's verbal or has use of his limbs. It's pretty significant that Sabine already defeated Gar Saxon using Ezra's lightsaber. That was against a fellow Mandalorian with the Darksaber, so not the same as dueling Shin Hati, but Sabine wasn't necessarily out of her depths attempting it.
I find it an interesting mirror to Jaina Solo's journey in Legends material (spoilers ahead for Legends) She was a Jedi first but had to learn how to fight like a Mandalorian from Boba Fett to be able to defeat the then most prominent Dark Side user in the Galaxy. Now you have the reverse, a Mandalorian first, having to learn at least the Jedi point of view to more effectively combat the current Dark Side users.
With what we saw of her on Rebels, Sabine is honestly probably a more skilled fighter than any of the Mandalorians we've seen on The Mandalorian, with the exception of Bo-Katan. I'd say she even has the potential to surpass Jango Fett in the future.
I think a shoto or dagger-sized saber would be perfect for her. Unless she picked up some rather high-level Form 2 (for that rapier-and-pistol vibe), I feel like she would be a lot more effective with a Big Boss style of pistol-and-knife close-quarters brutality.
When Shin Hati says to Sabine in a future conflict "You have no power" i'm just hoping Sabine says "yes I do, I am Mandalorian" and lights her ass up with her flamethrower and some whistling birds/rockets!
I feel like they really screwed up on showing "normies" who Sabine is. They should have had her in a bacta tank for the whole of episode 2 and used it as a opportunity for a bunch of flashbacks. Show her training with Ezra and Canan. Show her winning the darksaber from Gar Saxon. And giving it to bo katan. Show her fighting along side Ezra during the battle of lothal. Show her learning about the purge of mandalore and presumably the slaughter of her entire family. And show her training with Ahsoka. Show us that while her body is healing her mind is also trying to reconcile with all that she has fought for and what it cost her.
I think another great force using madalorian concept would be a mando with nightsister magic. On top of mando gear, they’d have spells, one in particular being invisibility, and that’s a whole different monster to come to terms with: an unseen mando getting the drop on his prey 😂
What i have always woundered about is why no one in the SW Galaxy ever developed a hard counter to the mandalorian way of warfare. At least one that does not involve the Jedi, or going into the Marquis…
Everything you said, but without the force. I think that makes her more interesting. A non-force user who can fight and potentially defeat force users makes her more accomplished and a badass to boot.
A mandalorian’s greatest weapon against force users is their ability to use tricks, gadgets, and methods the Jedi aren’t accustomed to or even allowed to use. This is even explained to Sabine by Fenn Rau when she was training with the dark saber with Kanan. And with these tricks, Sabine was able to overpower Kanan, though it was a simple sparring match. Sabine has shown great talent with lightsaber training in Rebels, and her lack of skill in Ahsoka can be chalked up to her not keeping up her training. However, the fact that Sabine didn’t even grab a blaster or something to give her a slight boost in power against the Dark Padawan is a mysterious decision that eludes me. Sure, Sabine was in a hurry. But not even her bracer that had her shield and flamethrower on it? It would have taken her only a few seconds to put it on, and she had a whole long elevator ride to prepare whatever was necessary.
I always thought Shotguns with buckshot would be great against Jedi. Like the video said, You can't deflect physical ammunition, and the key to beating down a jedi is to overwhelm them. A scatter shot would be a lot to catch.

That bit about wide-receivers not wearing their pads was too accurate 😂. Always getting yelled at part way though a game when coach finally notices
I like the open and balanced points you presented. Nice video!
Sabine Wren is becoming the canon version of Jaina Solo and I love to see it.
I’m so glad someone is finally addressing this issue. Great video. I absolutely agree I hope Sabine realizes she is not a Jedi although she may be a force yielding Mandalorian
Frankly I am all for seeing a new Mandalorian Jedi. Ever since I heard about Tar Visla I have thought the idea sounded rad as hell
I wonder if Huyang and Tar Visla met, was Huyang wondering "what in the sweet name of the force kind of lightsabre have I wrought?!?"
That Wide Receiver analogy was amazing.
Sabine as a Jedi just gives me such good KOTOR vibes.
Hati too Sabine: *catching a strike from Sabine with the Force* “ You have no POWER.”
Sabine: “I’m Mandolorian .”, “I don’t need power!” *Blocks a saber strike from Hati with her gauntlet* “I have ARMOR.”
*Gives Hati a MANDOLORIAN KISS!(helmet covered headbutt)
I always absolutely love how he always tries to bring things and people together!
And the Ending of this video was just absolutely perfect!😂❤
Sabine is about to become the first true mandalore since the darksaber was created, how on earth could you not be excited for this
Ehh she's even more of an outcast than Din was.
She abandoned her culture in its entirety
Grogu's more likely to become a Mandalore than Sabine
Hell she had the opportunity and gave it away to Bo-Katan
Would of liked to see her help retake Mandalore, not sitting around on lothal
I’m not sure she’s gonna become a Mandalore. But once she finds her niche, she’ll be a force to be reckoned with, even if she has banal control of the Force.
Cause from episode one she's already invincible? 😂
The show begins with her being gut stabbed, and because of the retconning in Book of Boba, we now know even impure Beskar can deflect any and all blaster fire.
And as Kanan told her, when she used the vambraces, and he still kicked her butt, the Jedi won the war against Mandalore.
"B-b-but flamethrower!"
"Yeah? Telekinesis."
Since about 2000 in kindergarten, i had always dreamt of seeing a live action Mandalorian Jedi.
Thrawn approves of your analysis of her armor.
Refreshing to see someone highlight how interesting Star Wars can be!
1000% agree! Sabine needs to just embrace what already makes her a badass and consider the lightsaber just another weapon to add to her arsenal. Not get hung up on the precognition that she doesn't have the force sensitivity for anyway.
Best end to a video on star wars ever - Thanks Allen!
Jedi & Mandalorian would be the best dynamic duo since Batman and Robin 😊.
I personally love how Sabine is getting a little more personality in the live action version. She was a bit of a blank slate in Rebels.
10:36 I noticed she hadn’t donned her jet pack with the rest of her armor in episode 2. I hope to see that in future episodes.
Damn good analysis and it also explains why Ahsoka wants Sabine to be herself a badass Mandalorian not a traditional Jedi.
Mandalorians have weaknesses but Jedi aren’t one of them. They don’t need no stinking force to be a credible threat to anyone including force users .
I really hope she goes all in on being a Jedi, making her lightsaber and everything
I mean she even has Huyang there already!!

It's weird how we don't think about that simply because it's been ages since we've watched Rebels.
I’m really excited to see where Sabine’s character goes in Ahsoka, I enjoyed her development in Rebels 👍
I super enjoyed this video. Keep up the great work. I’m a multi your fan of yours and your videos keep getting better and better
Grievous did the blaster/lightsaber move on Kit Fistos former apprentice on the third moon of Vassek and Kanan tried to use that move on the grand inquisitor on Tarkins ISD.
Very good points. I like her a lot. Thanks for the video.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I remember when the doom movie with the rock went FPS it wasss so cool, would love to see that here
Ashoka isn't teaching her to be a jedi , but how to use a light saber.
We've seen that beskar can be forged into chain mail. What's to say it can't be forged into thread like strands that could be interwoven into a pressure suit? Sure, it wouldn't be as protective as a plate of beskar, but it could provide some protection.
Could be another reason, Ahsoka is so afraid of her padawan falling to the dark side she'll only teach someone that can never touch it.
Yes! somebody else noticed that she left her armor. Not a bad show. Not great. But I did enjoy Rebels, and it is nice to see a continuation.
The optimal way to fight a lightsaber fight would be with a gungan shield in one hand and a saber spear in the other XD
9:30 Sabine is also like that one lacrosse player that just never wears elbow protection… or that ice hockey player that doesn’t use kidney pads
I thought the imperial super commandos were wearing plastoid not beskar? that's why the duchess burned them when sabine changed the settings
Vince Papale was an American football wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1970s but wore q quarterback's padding because he found his own pads too heavy to play in
I was so disappointed in her first fight with Shin. She's a total badass.
Like when she took out a platoon of Stormtroopers with jetpacks by herself
"The mandalorians would learn from them and then use their own culture against them"
::Thrawns theme plays::
Clones killed no more than 10k jedi while mandalorians have been in wars with force users for tens of thousands of years and fought jedi when they were at their most numerous and most likely have over a million force user kills
Jedi always talk about joining the force, would be rude to deny them that
Welp it's more like overcome & adapt.
If I were Force-sensitive, I'd *still* want those Mandalorian vambraces. Imagine using telekinesis to direct the whip and flame in unexpected directions.
I think it Sabine remembers where she's from, and then uses that, she'll deal with Shin pretty handily.
I find it an interesting mirror to Jaina Solo's journey in Legends material (spoilers ahead for Legends)
She was a Jedi first but had to learn how to fight like a Mandalorian from Boba Fett to be able to defeat the then most prominent Dark Side user in the Galaxy.
Something that I’ve noticed with Ahsoka’s training does not mention of stuff like reaching out with feelings like Obiwan and Yoda said to Luke.
I think a shoto or dagger-sized saber would be perfect for her. Unless she picked up some rather high-level Form 2 (for that rapier-and-pistol vibe), I feel like she would be a lot more effective with a Big Boss style of pistol-and-knife close-quarters brutality.
tbh, igniting a flamethrower on the wrist you use your lightsaber on to block a strike from another would be pretty surprising for your opponent.
When Shin Hati says to Sabine in a future conflict "You have no power" i'm just hoping Sabine says "yes I do, I am Mandalorian" and lights her ass up with her flamethrower and some whistling birds/rockets!
Huyang will be the real judge on if Sabine is a Jedi or not!
Well Sabine herself designed the anti-beskar weapon, but duno if that counts
Final battle
Ahsoka: Sabine!
Sabine: What?
Ahsoka: Execute Order 66!
Everything you said, but without the force. I think that makes her more interesting. A non-force user who can fight and potentially defeat force users makes her more accomplished and a badass to boot.
I love how you end it on "Seriously?"
