Do you have information on broadband internet speed in Santa Marta (Download/Upload)? Gracias

It was about 36 download and 10 to 12 upload when I was there. I also experienced frequent outages. But it wasnt something I was paying for so it could be possible to do better. Its also been 2 years since Ive been there.

Perhaps the next video could be tours and prices of various housing options and what neighborhoods would be best.

Cartagena is the best but hard to escape higher prices if you want to enjoy your time in popular areas. Regardless, overall Colombia is probably the cheapest country I've been to in latin america next to Peru.

Not true at all. Colombia and it's mentality is nothing close to the first world. I live here in Colombia and it's not even comparable to the first world

@@markplimsoll advertising doesn't affect a nation as much as genetic composition does on a nation. Eg. Guns don't create an enormous murder rate in Jamaica. Jamaican genetics create this behavior.
Advertising and propaganda hit the west harder than ever before but Canadian women. Are not aspiring porn stars like every other Colombian is. Moral standards are embedded in gene pools. South America's moral heights and all heights was during colonialism.
Colombia's downfall is radical liberalism and radical open minded- ness . And also it's mixed racial demographics creates an environment of endless poverty .

when you move your camera from right to left.. you should do it slowly. it makes you dizzy the way you do it!!! $20.00 per hour for Spanish lessons,, I think is too EXPENSIVE for COLOMBIA!.

The food scene and especially street food is pretty dismal in Colombia if compared to SE Asia or India. I just went to a mid range burger restaurant in Pereira and it was just under 40,000 pesos for a burger, fries and a drink. In Bangkok, KL or Bali you could eat for two people in a restaurant and get waaay better quality food for $10 USD. Food scene is lame in Colombia if you're used to SE Asia and East Asia. Burgers, chuzos, hotdogs, arepas for street food - that sucks!

Absolutely agree. But if you find some local friends they can generally cook

@@lostslowtraveler nahh I just get my girlfriends and their moms to cook for me. I've been coming to Colombia for over a decade and know tons of people and have tons of friends. Colombians don't typically invite foreigners to their houses to cook for them. That's not a cultural thing here.

Two dodgy-looking characters approached you in two minutes. This is why I couldn't live there, and don't even want to visit it. You're rarely left in peace, and frequently have to look over your shoulder.
