    This is a 11.2 hiking adventure to 2 very popular places in the San Gabriel Mountains near Los Angeles. Bridge to Nowhere and Devil’s Gulch Waterfalls.
    I did this on February 10, 2023, it had so much water like I’ve never seen before on this place . Always check the weather before heading to this place, during the winter there could be flash floods and in summer temperatures well over 100 degrees.
    Be safe , bring plenty of water and leave no trace behind 🥾🥾

    Thank you for the great videos 👍🏻
    I have a question, how many miles into the hike when making a turn to the devils gulch waterfall? Thanks

      Hey thank you for watching. It’s about 3.5 miles , once you get to where you start going up to bridge just keep following the creek. There is no actual trail though, you will have to get wet ! Watch the water levels, since snow is melting they could rise a lot. Have fun, hope you make it !!

      From that point it’s about 0.8 of a mile , the waterfalls will be on the left but you’ll have look out for a stream first and then follow it .

    Nosotros no encontramos la cascada del diablo 😢 está lejos de él puente?

    • @lopezexplora
      @lopezexplora  Год назад

      Está antes de llegar al puente. A 3.5 millas recorridas aproximadamente en donde se empieza a subir el sendero a la derecha, en vez de eso se sigue caminando junto al río por 3/4 de milla y a la izquierda se encuentra un pequeño cañón el cual hay que seguir para llegar a la cascada. También está en AllTrails.
      Suerte 🥾🥾

    Where does all this water cone from. Is there an uper lake?

      Thank you for watching, all this water comes from the melting snow of the San Gabriel Mountains and it has water all year long.
      This one is the tallest mountain in Los Angeles County and provides lots of water to many creeks near by, check it out:

    Great video! One of my favorite hikes! There is another trail that leads you up from the river just a little upstream from the falls. There is a little campsite along that trail and it joins the main trail at the signage just before the main trail gets to the bridge. It’s a little safer.

      🙏 Thank you, I knew about that safer trail but I just couldn’t find it, I saw it on the way back.
