      AlchemistOfNirnroot there’s no way ur doing maxwells first year physics. First year u can only learn so much and u need to start with Newtonian physics along with basic em physics.

    Wow, I really had no idea what to expect. At first it started innocently enough by using Gauss’s law to find the E-field of a point charge, but once you set q = 1 and r = 14,631 m I was like huh??
    Then it all became clear.

    Never seen gausses law in the double integral form before.
    I recall it as a single integral int(E).DA.
    What's the difference?

      You're single integral notation is just that, a notation. dA is a 2 dimensional differential area, such as dxdy. It's always been a double integral.

    I thought that Maxwell's Equations looked insanely scary when I was very briefly introduced to them during my 1st year in Engineering Physics;
    they did however become much more manageable when they were slowly introduced one at a time in Electromagnetic Field Theory a couple years later.

      theta from 0 to pi sweeps out a semi-circular arc, phi from 0 to 2pi rotates that to form the surface of a sphere (if the angles are orthogonal to each other).

    Just imagine, Maxwell found those equations of electromagnetism and light(not quite Photons, Photons comes from Quantum Mechanics) back in the 1800s.
    As for the meaning of life . . . see my Gospel of Truth; actually, I just took it down. I just finished reading Robert Graves "The Greek Myths", and am in th process of adding a huge Greek myths section to my Gospel of Truth. We're talking, i took it down just yesterday.
