    Hi Shashi - Great vlog.
    But can't believe 10-15 views for a content like this.
    Certainly some issues with the channel.
    Just as a suggestion (as I saw many other RUclipsr already did) - can you create a new Channel something like "My Travel Diary 2.0". May be there u can repost the videos with some length cut.
    Certainly this much less view is impossible for a content like this in current age.
    Regards

      Thank you so much for such a nice comment. 🙏
      RUclips is not an easy space from content creation point of view. I have to motivate myself 100 times before going out to make a vlog positively. 😊
      Many a times I get the feedback from my friends in person that I should think about something else as things are not working out for me on RUclips. It is hard to convince family and friends to justify just few views for such effort.
      This is my second channel. 😊
      One thing I am finding hard is to make a small video. I don't do heavy editing in my vlog. I try to keep thing simple, clean and honest. Those who aspires to buy a new bike, would research a lot on RUclips before buying a bike. I know how I used to struggle to search my unique query on RUclips before buying a bike 😊
      Dominar 400 is my 4th bike in last 7 years. And in order to do research on RUclips, I used to struggle for some specific question for every bike. I try to talk about all those points in my video and may be those are the reasons my vlogs are lengthy. I hope those who are needy, they might find these videos helpful. If one such user is also able to find my vlog on RUclips, I would be happy and I would consider my effort to be successful. 😊
      I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for supporting and motivating me. 😊
      It really really means a lot to me 😊
      Thanks a lot, Brother! 😊

Aap jab mera Bangalore se Bihar bike ride dekhenge to usme main bahut luggage carry kar raha hu. Bike ne kahi bhi paresan nahi kiya. Aap 80-95 ke beech me speed ko rakhiye. Lagatar ek speed me bike mat chalaiye magar range 80-95 ke andar hi rakhiye. Koi problem nahi dega bike. Mujhe lagata hai 32 ka mileage to milna chahiye. 70 liters ke aas pas ka fuel lagega. 105 se le kar 110 rupees tak fuel ka price hai. Approximately 7500 rupees ka fuel lagega. Maximum 4000 rupees stay ke liye kharch aayega 4 din ke liye. Per day food ka expense depend karta hai. Main 500 ke andar me manage kar leta hu. Us tarah se 2000 rupees khane me kharch aayega. Bas yahi kharch hai. Kuch paise side se emergency ke liye rakh lijiye 😊
      13500 rupees (Fuel + Stay + Food) + 5000 rupees(emergency).

    I was really very confused about choosing 220 street or 220 cruise ... This video has made me very clear ... One of the best content so far and almost touched every point ... loved watching the video ... Thumps up 👍. Just one thing I wana ask is that is it wise to buy avenger cruise and install tubeless tyres or buy street and install cruise handle, backrest and windshield ?

    • @shashiroy83

      Hi, Brother! Thanks for watching and loving the vlog. I am glad that it was helpful for you. If I have to do it definitely then I would prefer to install the Cruise handle bar on my street bike. I actually did not need it to be done as I slightly adjusted the street handle bar and it was better for me. Street handles are good for city road. It helps in easy maneuver in the traffic condition. It's also good in the hills on the twisty and curvey road. Cruise has advantage only on the highway. But, you will exactly be sitting straight and entire body weight would be on the butt which will eventually make you uncomfortable in a long stretch. This sitting posture may also give you some pain in your spine. I would suggest you to go for STREET and try adjusting the handle a bit and see if it's comfortable for you after riding for few days. Before buying the bike, please confirm with the service center that if needed then will they install the Cruise handle bar in the street bike? So that would keep your options open. Please take the promise from the service center if they will install the Cruise handle bar in the future as later they may delay the things to an extent where you might feel annoyed. They may say that handle is available but long wire is not available and vice-versa. Good luck for your new bike 😊

      Backseat to pillion rider ke liye hi halpful hoga. As a rider, aapko straight baithna padega. Jo body posture hai wo upar head se weight, spine ke through aapke back par aayega. Mujhe baad me pata chala ki ye sitting posture theek nhi hai. Knee bhi 90° par turn hota hai. Is wajah se road ki impact direct knee par aakar rukta hai. Piche wala pillion agar lamba hai to uske thighs me bhi pain hoga. Seat aur suspension ka combination aisa hai ki pillion 100kms se jyada nahi baith payega. Dard to hona hi hai.

    Sir one question.. Avenger shares it's engine with Pulsar but why is it so that the engine of Avenger is tuned in such a way that in terms of raw power it's a bit underwhelming than pulsar in every segment (160, 180, 220)..Does Avenger enjoy any extra benefit by cranking down the raw horsepower a bit ? Is the engine of Avenger a bit more refined than that of Pulsar?

    • @shashiroy83
      @shashiroy83  3 года назад +1

      All the cruiser bikes are mostly tuned as a long stroke engine. But if you look at the sports bike, their engines will be tuned for the short gear ratio. Cruise bike will have good torque in the initial few gears whereas sports bike will have good torque in the mid and higher gears which requires high RPM to get the best out of engine. If you will do the research on R15, that bike allows you to touch 10k RPM as well but you will get maximum torque in Meteor or Classic Enfield at 6k RPM itself. It's all because of the nature and purpose of bike. Cruise bike's are meant for relaxed riding. Therefore the engine of Pulsor 220 is retuned to match the character of Cruise bike. Of course the difference is mild since it's a small capacity engine but this is very well felt when you will Ride Apache 310cc and Meteor 350cc. Sports bike is eager for it's gear to be changed frequently for performance. Cruise bike wants to give a relaxed feel to its rider so that rider does not have to change the gear frequently. Dominar falls in between these 2 segments. Neither it's a pure Cruise bike nor it's a complete sports bike. Therefore the maximum torque comes around 8.5k RPM and initial torque is also very good. In the mid range bike pulls very well and can easily take you past 120 kmph in the 4th gear, where you will still be left to use 5th and 6th gear. Same engine is used in KTM and the performance is way better than Dominar in KTM. KTM allows you to reach more higher RPM. KTM is a pure sports bike. Since Dominar is a sports tourer(neither purely Sports not completely Cruise) hence same engine of KTM is retuned accordingly for Dominar. 😊

    • @Abishek_1988
      @Abishek_1988 3 года назад +1

      @@shashiroy83 thank you sir for such a detailed analysis of the matter..but that leaves me with a doubt if the engine of Avenger is more refined than that of a pulser? Because I've said a few people saying so since Pulsar uses the last drop of it's juice in terms of rpm and Torque but comparatively the engine of Avenger is relaxed

    • @shashiroy83
      @shashiroy83  3 года назад +1

      True, in fact the Avenger 150cc is more refined than Pulsar 150 and Avenger 220. Avenger 220 is more relaxed than Pulsar 220, but in terms of refinement, I would say Pulsar 220 is also a good bike. Refinement difference is so mild that it is difficult to differentiate at times between these 2 bikes. But Avenger 220 is definitely more relaxed than Pulsar 220. 😊

    Bhai aapke vlogs ek dum chaka chak he. Mai aapka shukrguzar hu. Mera ek sawal hai Avenger se related. Kya hum is bike ko continuous 200 km chala sakte hai pillion k sath.

    • @shashiroy83
      @shashiroy83  2 года назад

      Thanks, Bhai 😊
      Aap chala sakte hain, Bike bhi chal sakti hai, lekin pillion aapko nahi chalane dega/dengi 😊
      Piche ka seat comfortable nahi hai. Agar pillion ko koi complain nahi hai to aap definitely chala sakte hain. Lekin 200 kms ka matlab hota hai 2.5 se 3 ghante ki minimum ride. Kitna bhi distance cover ho jaye 1.5 ghante me, kyu na aap ek chay ka ya pani ka chhota break le lijiye. Aur ghar se bas aadhe ghante pahle nikaliye taki jo aap 15 minute ja 2 break lenge 200 kms ka safar me to aapka riding time impact nahi hoga 😊
      Bike ki servicing karate rahiye, bike ka achha sath milega. Magar mera suggestion rahega ki raste ka anand lete huye yani ki break lete huye jaiye. Banki agar kabhi kisi time par emergency hai to Avenger disappoint nahi karega. 😊

    • @shashiroy83

      Suspension would be soft in the bike which has spoke wheels. In the city like Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad has good options for bike modification. I to be honest only enquired about handle replacement option in Street bike as i already had Alloy wheels in my bike. You may take your bike to the nearest service center and ask for the help if they can do it or request for the suggestions where can we get it done. But if you are living in the city like the one I mentioned above then you probably will have plenty of after market option for bike modification.

      Only 160cc of street version is being sold by Bajaj as of now. If you want to buy an Avenger 220cc, you can go for Cruise with a spoke wheel but try to ride only from morning to evening. Do not drive late at night. Try to ride in a group if you are planning for a very long distance. Cruise will be much more comfortable to ride than the street bike. 😊

      Meteor 350 will do the job. It's decently priced bike. It has good amount of torque and it will easily pull the bike without changing gear multiple times in the hills. The new generation bullet is not vibrating as much as it used to be vibrating before. Fuel consumption is also less and if you ride in 90s on highway, then you can easily get the mileage in 30+ kmpl. It's having comfortable and tall sitting posture which will be good in long journey. This bike also comes with tubeless tyres so you will stay tension free on a long tour. Tank capacity is also nice so you do not have to frequently look for petrol pump every now and then. 😊

      Hi Brother, Thanks for watching and loving the vlog 😊
      1) Unicorn mono suspension is softer than Avenger. You will find your ride more smoother and comfortable in Unicorn.
      2) 220 Cruise is again having slightly softer suspension than 220 street. That's my personal experience. Spoke wheel also plays a major role as spoke is more flexible than fixed alloy wheel.
      3) Mileage in Unicorn would be better than Avenger 220 as Unicorn is slightly smaller capacity engine and hence it consumes less fuel.
      That was my honest opinion about those 2 bikes for your 3 points.

      Sure Brother. I would definitely try to help and share my experiences as much as possible. Avenger street is having slightly strong suspension. I have struggled on this bike on broken roads. Where ever I found off road, I struggled with this bike. One thing to notice with this bike is that you would sit straight. And whenever you will hit a pothole, the impact would be on the spine directly for sure. The whole upper body weight would be on your butt. A slightly sportier sitting posture distribute the weight in a very balanced way. Comparatively Avenger Cruise is having softer suspension and better ride quality than Street 220.
      I have ridden my close friend's Cruise 220 and I found that bike more comfortable than mine.
      My suggestion would be for you that if you really want to buy avenger than go for Cruise. 😊

    I had a longing to install the back cushion on my Avenger 180 but I looked across several mechanics with a original 220 cruise back rest but all of them said my bike is incompatible for the said modification.. Distraught, I returned back the backrest to the shopkeeper where I purchased ir from and ditched the idea . Although the rear disc is getting its job done as expected at least as of now .. yesterday I came across a tricky situation when I had to bring my bike from around 50-0 and all I did was to go with the rear brake first and it did pull the bike down to approx 20 in little time from where I gently squeezed the front brake to bring the bike to a stop..When I had no rear disc I had to apply more pressure on the front brake and that caused my pillion to jump on me

    • @shashiroy83
      @shashiroy83  3 года назад +1

      That's still better as in my bike in some tough situation, rear wheel will be getting locked and front wheel will also not give so much of confidence. Therefore I try to maintain distance with other vehicles and always prepared to take a break in a crowded street 😊
      You may install some other custom backrest.
      You are doing great with respect to riding the bike 😊
      You have to find someone who can do a bit of customization to fit the rear back rest or we might have to search something which can be for according to the design pattern of bike. 😊
      In Bangalore, if we go to KR Market, they would do every possible modifications as per our expectations 😊

      First of all thank you so much for watching the vlog 😊
      I am going to visit Bajaj Service center soon for my new Dominar bike servicing. I would ask the opinion of service center guy about your query. He must be practically more experienced than many of us. I know one guy who really does a lot of custom modification in the bike on request. If he has any example before hand then we would not need any customization to test the endurance of bike. I will share his feedback with you. If not then we shall evaluate the pros and cons of this customization and proceed accordingly. Personally I suggest everyone to do the limited alteration in chesis and avoid much mechanical modification in the bike. This is to avoid the overall failure of a bike from technical and safety point of view. We can't really trust the bike in long run and in a long trip. But as I said, I shall check with the mechanic and come back to you with his feedback 😊

      @@shashiroy83 Ok.. Can I Convert a New 220 Cruise Into Street Model ?

    • @shashiroy83
      @shashiroy83  3 года назад +2

      It might be a costly affair. The 2 major difference between cruise and street is the tubeless Tyre and the straight handle bar. Handle bar of the cruise bike can be changed at the service center easily because the wire for brake, clutch and accelerator is long in Cruise bike. Street bike requires smaller wire compared to Cruise bike. Vice versa would be tough as it would require wire alterations as well. Installing tubeless Tyre would require to change the complete wheel setup all together. That we may have to discuss with the service center guy if it's possible. What I personally feel that customization is definitely possible but it depends that how much service center guys are interested in doing that. Sometime they don't show so much interest and even discourage us to go for the modification.
      Once I am back in Bangalore around November then I can do a bit of research on it and give you more detail on it. Next week I am going for my Dominar second service and I would take that opportunity to ask this query as well for you.

Change the Tyre early before it's completely worn out. Cruise is much more comfortable then Street model. 😊 Spoke wheels will absorb potholes more comfortably then alloy wheels. And suspension also seems to be on softer side in Cruise model. 😊

      I can understand Bhai. Once in a while kabhi kabhi 1 ya 2 gadiyo me production ke waqt se hi issues aa jate hain. Servicing me professionalism ki kami lagbhag lagbhag sabhi brand ke sath hai. I hope the problem in your bike is resolved soon.
