Hello Claudia, I am 74 yrs. young & have always taken care of myself inside & out for my health. I am using Adipeau going on two months. Within the first three weeks I noticed the hollows around my eyes filling-in. Also, the Eleven creases between my brows filled- in. They are softer, plump & smoother. I apply Adipeau on my entire face only once per day. I will continue to use this product. Many thanks, Claudia, for all your informative, wonderful videos. Blessings!

I am so happy to see your reply. I had just left a comment on Claudia's channel asking her if she had had anyone comment who had used the product after age 65 or 70 and she could not recall but told me that she hoped someone would see my comment and respond. I had this video pop up in my recommendations and so I watched it. I am glad to hear that at 74 you are seeing some benefit. I will be 70 in 6 months. I am wondering if you put it on your eyelids? I have pretty much decided to give it a 6 month trial and my areas of most concern are my under-eyes. I have taken pretty good care of my skin overall but did sun worship as a young women and did not use sunscreen, of course. I went through a period of not taking care of my skin during the pandemic and I can see how my skin as failed considerably. I just started back on skincare, mostly Korean skincare. I still get a lot of compliments on my skin and overall at 70, I think it looks good. The dreaded hyperpigmentation is the worst and hardest to get rid of, for me. Thank heavens for concealer, although I haven't found any concealer that really completely disguises it. I am going to try applying twice a day for the first couple of months and then down to once a day, since it will add up in price pretty quickly if I continue twice a day. Congratulations on your success and if you would let me know if you use it on your eyelids, I would appreciate it. Deborah

I’ve been using it for six months and I’ve been
So happy with it. I put a thick mask of over my top lip and marionette lines at night and then a much thinner layer in the morning. It’s totally changed my face. I’m really happy and will continue to use it. I’ve gone back to wearing nice lipsticks again as my lips are plumper and softer.

Hi Claudia, I am so grateful for your persistence, your skepticism and the moderation with which you report your results. It's so important for reviews to be balanced, with the negative and the positives given equal weight. Otherwise, people just tune out. They don't want to be sold to. I also appreciate all the effort you made going through the scientific literature for yourself. Not just taking my word. I don't want to comment on any of the substance of your review. That feels too much like putting the finger on the scale. I do want to comment on two aspects of the underlying biology. First, regarding the lip skin which does not have hair follicles. We have never made any claims regarding lip plumping or even instructed user to try it. But that hasn't stopped people, including some of the aestheticians that carry the product, from using it on their lips. And they report results similar to yours. I took a look at this and found out that the skin on the lips has a more permeable barrier than the rest of the facial skin. This could enable the cream to access the dermal fat cells. Second, with subjects who have very severe depletion in a particular area (e.g., usually mouth or eyes), we see an acceleration of results from the first three months to the second three months. This makes a lot of sense in retrospect. We know that mature fat cells are themselves recruiters of new fat cells. They make hormones like adiponectin that stimulates maturation of new cells. So as the number of mature cells increases, you have more hands helping out. For this same reason, you can stop using the cream at some point. Your skin will take over and do all of the work on its own. I have seen that with my own application. I hope that helps shed some light on some of your results. Thank you again for your trust (and skepticism).

Yes indeed Claudia, you're under eye and lips are fuller. I have been using Adipeau for a little over 4 months, I had very similar experiences as you. I lost a lot of volume in my face from a 40 lbs weight loss..i had fillers done in my cheeks, not under my eyes..I'm seeing much improvement in my under eyes and lips as well..i will continue to use Adipeau, it's a much safer and affordable alternative to injection treatments and I'm very happy with my sloooow results😅

There's a definite difference. I think that the cream is a tad pricey but if it yields subtle results over a period of time I think it's worth it, compared to getting a fat transfer or doing sculptra. I think people need to decide what's worth it to them depending on the amount of money they have available to use on this.

I have been using Adipeau since mid-Feb, and still too early to tell, will keep using for 6 months and then compare results. I apply thick layers on my cheeks, keep it for 30min or so and then clean my face and put usual skincare, but might try your method. It does give me quite a bit of irritation to my eyes when i put it too close there and feel like my eyesights gets blurrier next day, not sure if other people experience the same.

I would have kept using the cream regardless, esp under the eyes, where bio stimulators can not be used, but the creator of the cream was a bit dishonest, claiming that some of my results which were from the biostimulators, were from the cream, and that really bothered me and turned me off from using it.

It's best to take pictures with a 50mm lens. That is the most accurate focal length that we see. If you use a shorter focul length like 12-16mm you face will look longer and thinner and nose more prominent. That's why a lot of selfies with phones don't look good. If you take a photo with a focal length of 80mm, for instance, your face will start to look more fat, bigger or square. So the focal length of the photo makes a huge difference!

@@claudiaglows The best way if you're using a cell phone, is to step back from the phone and take a shot using the timer. You can also get lenses for the camera. Also, use the side of the lenses of higher quality and not the lens for selfies. Video with the phone will have the same effect as pictures but may appear different because you're moving. Here's a good video just explaining the effect. So you probably look a lot better than you think! :) But if you are taking picture to see results I would borrow a camera and shoot pictures with a 50mm lens at same distance and lighting to see the most accurate results. ruclips.net/video/UBuaG1_sA5k/видео.html

Ooo, that's interesting that someone told you that microcurrent regenerates all cells, including fat cells. I have actually started using Adipeau after experiencing facial fat loss from using a home microcurrent device (Foreo Bear). It quite severely shrunk and flattened my face in less than a year - The buccal area was particularly diminished and gaunt (and this was in my mid-thirties too, so I was shocked and upset by this unexpected outcome!). I have been using Adipeau for a couple of months now. I have to say, I have noticed my upper cheeks looking fuller again! I actually wondered if I was putting on weight, lol! I'm not sure it's having a noticeable effect anywhere else as of yet (I apply it to the whole face pretty much). I could really do with it filling in the under eye, jowel and buccal area. I am hoping I will see this occur if I stick with it. Interestingly, I have not directly applied any to my lips, but have applied it above the lips and I have noticed my lips looking fuller. I was wondering what could possibly have caused it. I didn't think the Adipeau would have any effect as the lips don't have hair follicles, but I can't think why else it would suddenly be happening! So that's a nice bonus! It is incredibly expensive, though. After I budget for Adipeau, I have nothing left for anything else! 😅

Hi, I am sorry to hear the Foreo caused you to lose facial fat. You might find the video I did very interesting. In it the doctor I talked to does say that the current is super important, and that too high of a current does the opposite of what we want.

I have a more gentle microcurrent but began to use it more frequently and also experienced facial fat loss, after not using it for two weeks, it's coming back thank god as I looked gaunt. I am now thinking there is too much focus on this aging and maintaining thing and am dropping back on all of it. I think Claire from The Honest Channel has a healthy attitude to give everything a break for a week or so. I went away and didn't do anything and it gave my skin and being time for everything that I had been doing to penetrate and integrate, with relaxation it works to look better. I wish Andipeau was less expensive as I would love to try it, but with currency and shipping it costs me a small fortune.

This requires a lot of patience because even though I am in my 20s it has taken 7 months to finally see even the slightest results. My fat loss was caused by microcurrent in some areas and cavitation in other areas. So be patient. I would say try to increase blood flow in the areas before you use Adipeau it may yield better results. Use a non RF heating device or gua sha. I also applied a thin to medium layer once a day for 7 months so that may be the reason it took so long to see results. But now I honestly can say i see a difference.

I thought that I wasn't prepared to pay for the cream, and after reading the patent which listed many more ingredients that would achieve the same results, bought the black ginger powder (only powder form available in the UK), safflower oil, then added shea butter and curcuma oil (it's also on the patent as many other easily accessible things) in rather liberal proportions, and used all that as a mask once or twice daily since probably beginning of february. I used up about 75 mls of the concoction so far.
I have to say it generally works, as in it grows fat on the top of my cheeks but hasn't done anything on my undereye hollows, which are my actual problem area. Because I use retinol and am also currently losing weight at the moment, I think I am going to stick to this method for 6 months or until I'm tired of it or the fat grows over my dark circles). At least I haven't lost any facial volume with the weightloss, that's a result in itself. And like I said, there's definitely more volume on the top of my cheeks, I now can notice it when I look down even.
At least it doesn't cost me and moisturises me as well as any other cream. It definitely works, but just not quite for my problem yet. Hoping for more results.

Wow, the results in your lip and undereye areas are very obvious! Looking good! I wonder if re-introducing quality animal products to your diet (including collagen) will boost your results a whole lot more? Many vegans find that facial fat volume recovers once they re-introduce animal foods. Combined with what the Adipeau has already achieved your results may be quite radical! I'm really impressed with what you have achieved here. All the best! 🍃💐🍃

I purchased 10 bottles of Adipeau in Oct last year. I started out using it under my eyes and around my nasiolabio folds and jowl area. After 2 weeks of using it day and night, I started breaking out in these areas and developing milia all around my eyes. It caused perioral dermatitis which I've only just recently been able to calm down, after almost 6 months. So I don't think the formula is good for my oily skin type and somehow it damaged my skin barrier. So I am scared to use it again and have to deal with another 6 months of bad skin. I've still got 8 and a half bottles left and have just been using it as a lip balm for the past 6 months. I had very large lips in my youth, but after 20 years of smoking (I quit 8 years ago) I'd say they've decreased at least 30%, so I had the thought to use it to plump my lips. After 6 months of using it as a lip balm day and night, there is definitely no permanent increase to my lips, however the temporary swelling of my lips after application is nice and why I continue to use it. So I am wondering how long after applying it did you take your after photo, as potentially, like me, it could just be temporary swelling?

Regarding the pictures, as I said, in the video, I put the cream on early in the morning, then wash it off after a couple of hours. These pictures were taken in the afternoon, around 4 PM. So definitely don’t think that it’s just a temporary thing. Because even on the days, I don’t apply the cream in the morning, which happens occasionally, I can still see plumper lips. That being said, I’m still skeptical about how it does it ;-). But like I said, I would reach out to the company, and asked if you can return what you still have, since this cream is definitely not cheap. Please keep me posted

I feel like the lighting isn’t the same for the before and after photos. The before lighting is from more of the right. The afters lighting is shining directly from the front. Thank you for the effort of showing us a comparison tho

I agree with you and did say so in the video. The lighting is not the same. Since the before pictures I have not just moved, but gotten a new camera. So it is really hard to have the same lighting. But that is why I incorporated some video footage as well. Thank you for being here

It has shown some improvements from what you've indicated, but I know you do a lot of microneedling: what if the collagen remodeling has evolved from that? Also, microneedling with hyaluronic acid will have subtle improvements over time.

Thank you for being here Kevin. I have microneedled for 13 years, and while it has done wonders for my skin, I dint think the changes I am seeing in the after picture are from that. I also do not use HA when I micro needle, but do it in clean skin.

@@claudiaglows Thank you for your sharing your treatments. That's a long time to be doing microneedling, especially when it's more popular to the home user in the last few years! It was unheard of 13 years ago: even with the derma roller! The Dermapen in 2013 looks like Dr Pen's original Ultima A1. A lot of product doesn't get absorbed unless you break the skin barrier. I'm surprised you haven't used hyaluronic acid with it as it's everywhere! x

It would make more sense to get linoleic acid in the bloodstream from consuming 10-20g sunflower oil VS attempting to force it in hair follicles as there is little chance it can get to the subcutaneous layer of the skin. Linoleic acid stimulating lipogenesis, fisetin/quercetin clearing old senescent fat cells at the same time it would be great in theory haha i personally do this and load up on curcumin, egcg and dark chocolate and anything shown to support stem cells haha fingers crossed

I agree with you, I would make more sense. Or maybe a combination of both. Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Please keep us posted Danny

Maybe there was a misunderstanding. We are not aiming to get the linoleic acid into the subcutaneous layer (e.g, under the skin) but rather into the lower dermis as Claudia's diagram shows. The bottom of hair bulb is surrounded by immature and mature fat cells. There is really no issue with "forcing". The linoleic acid is a natural constituent of sebum fluid and so it travels down the follicle readily. In some cases -- as in vitamin C -- systemic supplementation is just as good as topical. In this case, topical is preferable because you have a local insufficiency of long chain fatty acids in the skin, but not in the body. Thank you for your commentary.

I been using it for 4 months now end it's been amazing. If I may be completely honest Claudia, I think it is entirely possibly you're using too many products. I am younger than you but in my ignorant opinion, I believe less is more. All I am using now is Bluelene and Adipaeu. As well as a sunscreen. And my results are fantastic. I look like a baby face even though my body fat is relatively low. In this video you mentioned that this product is "messing with" your evening skincare routine, but could that be a part of the problem? Again, is it possible that more is less and less is more? What I have been doing exactly is using this product over night, Bluelene in the day, a layer of Atopalm face with MLE barrier protection and then a mineral sunscreen over that. Either Cotz or Burnout.

I am really glad to hear it is working so well for you Clay. I think the fact that you are younger than me has more to do with it working faster on you, them me using too many products. I really do not want to give up my tretinoin at night, since it has done so much for my skin health. So I just use this in the morning, but as you as you saw in the after pictures, it does seem to be doing something now :)
I am also glad. to hear you are liking the Bluelene products

@@claudiaglows I know you saw you noticed a difference mostly under your eyes, I also noticed a difference in your after pic of your chin area. It seems much fuller. Please consider one thing. Ivan and a few other's have mentioned the correlation between skin thinning and Tretinoin. This actually happened to me too. What I did was I got all Retinoids out of my life and instead started using Almactin which is an AHA type product that has a study showing it reversed skin atrophy (sagging) in patients that had laxity due to overuse of topical Hydrocortisone. Have you considered just testing one product at a time to truly test their effectiveness? I really wonder what would happen if you used Adipaea without Retin-A for 3-4 months.

@@ClayMationNation I so appreciate you suggestions Clay, but retin a has taken away all my pre cancer spots and it had done such wonders for my skin. I honestly do not believe that it causes skin thinning, and in my case, it has for sure done the opposite. But, we are all different, and what works for one does not work for another. I think I am getting some results the way I am using Adipeau, which makes me happy. And it allows me to not give up other actives my skin really likes.
I am really glad you found a routine that works well for you

@@claudiaglows I was commenting only on your initial thoughts that it wasn't working well for you. But it might also be that some people require 6-9 months before seeing results. Depending on the state of the skin. I also found that additionally getting coffee out of my system helped a lot. Not sure if you did a video on Caffeine's effects but I will check.
