A sunroof is when YOU pay them to cut a hole in YOUR roof so YOU have a huge leak to deal with. I am glad that RAM offers it as an option in high end trucks. That damn leaky thing Ford offers one just as well have no roof!!
I say yes but one common thing I find that everyone says is that ram can’t hold speed while towing because it’s a 6 speed I say it’s not made to go fast it’s made to last.
The wood trim on the steering wheel ,I heard the reason why they discontinued the wood trim is too many warranty claims due to the varnish finish was wearing off ..
There's a barely used mega-cab dually Longhorn 4x4 with airbags near me that's so tempting. Unfortunately, it has a sunroof, but I could probably get past that. My concern was how rough the ride might be. Looked like it was vibrating all over the place while you were driving. I don't know if that was down to the Nexen tires or just how the truck rides as a 3500. Everyone I've talked to says the Ram 3500 rides rougher than the comparable Ford and GM trucks. I wouldn't mind the Super Duty, but you have to pull the cab off the truck to do any serious work on that 6.7 Power Stroke, which takes a week and costs $15-18K. At least with the Cummins, it's easy to work on and reliable. I just don't think my wife would appreciate the harsh ride compared to our current Hemi Ram 1500.
Yes. To replace these floor maps cost over $1,000. One of the workers at a local car wash I go to stole the Longhorn badge out of the rear floor map on the drivers side. Don’t ask me why, but they are the only folks who had access to the interior of my truck. I tried to buy a replacement badge to clip back in, but you can’t get one. I thought maybe I could just get the rear mat. No, I have to buy the complete set. Over $1,000. Guess I’ll do without😳. Nicest interior in HD trucks, especially my 21 which has the wood grain on the top of the steering wheel.
Man it is a slick truck, but the pricing is way out of line. You can get a Chevy LTZ dully with a LOT of options for 84k MSRP. Sure the Cummins is a better motor, but 20k extra is a LOT of money.
When I bought my 2019 it said came base model with the H.O 1000ftlb. And under extra options 12k for the H.O. I have the limited and I see that on all H.O truck
$108,000 is insane for trucks these days. I don’t understand how they continue to sell so many to stay in business. If you don’t but down a ridiculous down payment you’re talking over $1000 a month truck payment. Not counting insurance
Have you driven a new ford? I have a 23’ and absolutely none of the tech works in the truck and they used cheap plastic everywhere. The cameras are from what seems 2010, super blurry. This just seems like a bias comment to make. I’ve had both the ram and ford of the new styles, I can absolutely say without a doubt the ram is way further ahead on interior quality and software quality. I think the ford looks cool on the outside but past that point they released the new version too soon. Wasn’t ready.

Honestly, who is going to buy this truck? It can pull down the highway, but if it's for business, you probably don't want all the fluff. If you have a ranch or anything off the blacktop, those fancy interiors are horrible to clean. Those engineers just don't have a clue.
I’ve got the Limited version,2024 with 4.10 . It is really nice truck . Only bad thing is that,it only gets 13.8mpg. It only has 3100 miles on it,maybe it will get better once it gets broken in.
The two tone looks so much better than a plain white, black or gray truck.

Ram never really dealt with sunroofs and even when they do it's one of those small stupid baby ones on those trucks not really worth it

I love my 2021 Longhorn two tone SRW. The pearl white and brown is beautiful.
5000lbs payload is GOOD!! This actually is the perfect truck for me. Has exactly the options I would equip.

Hey, I tried building this truck online with a 2024 limited longhorn as the base. And for some reason there is not an option for dual paint.
Hmmm. Could be a regional option maybe...? I think it's usually a box near the bottom, I don't think it's in with the exterior paint options.

I think the "Base" Cummins is +$10-11k over the 6.4, and the H.O. is $12-13k over the 6.4.

Ford has 1200ft/lbs of torque and way better in ever way.
This truck hasn’t change, so the ford is more advanced and up to date. However both are severely overpriced.

Ford Super Duty PS owner here to say you'll be lucky if it does. I have an SRW 1-ton and mine gets 13.6, combined cycle.
