    Put an old towel between your stomach and the beaver and it wont slide down the beam as much on you

    Good idea about the legs. I normally start from the head down to the tail. Then work the sides after. I use the Necker 600. Also I keep what I work on close to me . Make it easy to work on. Thanks for showing how you do them.

    Just this year I got a Post fleshing knife...really nice.
    My preference for beaver is to use a beam and quickly knock most of the meat off. Then put it on the stretcher and salt it over night. The next day while it's still on the stretcher I use a fillet knife held flat against the hide. Super easy. Way easier than working the whole thing on a beam in my opinion.

    I use a post knife and burn a strip from head to tail w sharp side. then turn and slice what I have to till I hit the push able spot
