Spoken language is unknown to me, but the tone in her voice says nothing but happiness. The singing in still the most beautiful voice and clearest on the planet.
They were speaking in Afrikaans.Amira spoke of her life since winning Holland's Got Talent,what she had achived,what she was busy with and what she will be doing in the future.One of them will be organizing net ball competions between schools. This is just a brief summary of what Amira said.Amira is one of the most articulate and confident young persons I have heard.More strength to her and showers of blessings. @@micheallewis9156I'm amazed how she speak the Afrikaans language especially as it is so close to Nederlands. I couldn't do it. English is my second language, however I was born in the Netherlands. I have followed her since she won the competition at 9
@@marjopmYes and to think that AMIRA passed her matric exams,speaking and writing in English and Afrikaans,which are not her mother tongue and on top of that, graduated with eight distinctions and honour's. Truly incredible.Reguards from Michael Jonathan Lewis, Johannesburg,South Africa.
@@marjopm her mother spoke africaans l, so I suppose that was an advantage, + Amira is incredibly intelligent.

Thank you so much for this fabulous concert. What a pleasure.
It is part of her fundraising tour for her charity foundation Gelukskinders.
I made a donation to Gelukskinders in lieu of a 'ticket'.
Anyone who has not visited the Gelukskinders website do so.
Fabulous photos of where the money goes.
Particularly endearing is the photos from a crèche of the little children playing on the tiny mobile playground pieces and little bikes.
These can be brought in and out so they are very clever for storing.
But all the projects are well worth a look. Amira sings too in some of the videos opening the playgrounds.
I speak Dutch, but I can understand you fairly well. A lady like you is like a lighted candle in a cold world. I have followed you, since you were 9 and it has always been a wonderful experience.

You don't understand because it is in Afrikaans, which was developed by the Dutch settlers. Amira has this concert at the Dutch Rite Catholic Church in Piketberg-town in western SA

Amira. Ek en my vrou het jou konsert in ons pragtige kerk op Piketberg baie geniet. Jy het n pragtige stem. Geniet ook jou Nederlanse aksent as jy Afrikaans praat. Voorspoed met jou Stigting en met jou studies volgende jaar op Stellenbosch.
Amazing ,and so touching, her humility, considering what she has accomplished. But her compassion and concern with those in need speaks volumes for her character. She combines beauty, personality, and a voice which is probably at the forefront in the world.

She sings beautifull, but Patricia Janečková was a little better...
You cannot compare them since Patricia is classical trained in a polished manner and sings in that traditional strictly. While Amira is not classical trained and sings in many different styles. Many can sing like Patricia and do so but no one can imitate Amira.
She should stay away from the high notes. Her throat closes and itsounds squeaky
