Bro! Could you please speak more on sync licensing? Especially in the South African context. I am a new subscriber and I am reeally enjoying your content. It is so relevant
They’re not 100%. I took the average of all platforms based on what they pay in the states. Then took into account the master royalties for producers which is about 5-15% on average and significantly lower if the artist is signed to a major label (1-5%). Add that to the 50% on the of the publishing revenue, which by itself is significantly lower than the master revenue. With all that taken into consideration, for a million streams, the AVERAGE $ value a track makes is between 3000-4000
Dope video. Thanks for sharing.. I have been on beatstars for almost 5 years now but only sold 3 leases, however traktrain has been bringing in good results.... I am also considering submitting stuff to a few libraries. would you recommend the free Native instruments dj software for a beginner?

I’d love a video on just that breakdown in the intro. I’m curious on how you got to those numbers. Thank you

Yes 100% it’s a great start! Are you planning to use it with a NI controller or just the laptop?
@@thozimusic Just a laptop... hopefully I can upgrade eventually
For a laptop-only setup I’d suggest Virtual DJ, it’s really capable
@@thozimusic Much appreciated... Thank you
