Thank you guys for the support! 🙌 Best community ever! A few comments I’ve seen mention the speed you get with Catapult Lift. I 100% agree on the speed, which is why I have Cerridius video in my description. For me I find my lateral movement better with strafe lift.
I wish I could have movement like this on console. I’m going to try doing this on console but we super slow compared to pc. Great vid tho and I do be waiting for that warlock vid tho.
I think it would have been a bad idea to make the catapult lift your 'main jump' for the guide since all console players have no access to it. ('It' beeing the super fast macro version.) The way you did it was perfect imo.

Great video as always! As a fellow Titan, here are some of my favorite movement tricks, which have saved my graceful giant refrigerator thousands of times :D. 0) Lightweight frame weapons such as Dire Promise or Seventh Seraph CQC give a small sprint speed boost, stacking on top of Dunemarchers. 1) If you happen to run a shoulder charge subclass, you can use the shoulder charge as a movement ability. With this, you can instantly change your direction and cover a lot of distance rapidly. For instance, if you sprint into a doorway and you find yourself in a 3v1 suddenly, snap your sights to the cover and shoulder charge back immediately. 2) Launch your shoulder charges from slides. This completely takes the opponents off guard, as they won't expect it. Even better if you use Antaeus Wards. 3) Fist of Havoc movement: you are really easy to hit if you move in a straight line, because this is a really slow super. When approaching groups of enemies in the super, use the light attack to jiggle from left to right while closing the gap. You have ~12 light attacks in your super, so don't be stingy :) 4) Other roaming super movement: slide as often as you would slide outside of super. Titan supers are really slow and it is easy to get domed by a sniper. (With the notable exception of Thundercrash). 5) This is up to personal preference, but the increased range on Synthoceps can be used to close the gap quickly. (Also, the melee autolocks the target.) Bonus Code of the Missle movement tips: 1) Launch the slam from cover. Upon launching, you will be suspended in the air for a brief period of time, which makes you extremely vulnerable. 2) If you have the melee, launch the super from your melee to cover larger ground. Just before the slam hits, cancel it out by casting the super. Since you won't hit the ground, the melee will still have the charge. 3) How to Thundercrash Dawnblade supers in the air. If you want to go high in your super, don't just yank your mouse upwards, you won't have the proper elevation speed with this. Instead, try to spiral upwards, which can take you up the skybox rapidly and continuously keep you there.
Finally someone who mentioned SB, I even run it on things like Garden and Zero Hour because the benefits of even just extending your air movement or quickly changing direction is so handy. And I mean if you run Insurmountable with striker SB, then you can infinitely spam it so long as you arent killed within like 500 ms of killing an opponent
The amount of times I've been caught in the middle of that ground slam melee ability animation is so annoying, I never do it at the right time and sometimes it will just go straight down.
Cornering yourself with a barricade is a recipe for disaster. One solar, vortex or spike grenade and now your barricade is your coffin. Plus a barricade can't be relied on for disengaging fights but rather for engaging fights. Turtling behind your barricade is the universal bat signal for hunters to jump over it with a shotgun. Turtling is not the titan way. Got out with dignity with a shotgun in your hand and running in as straight a line as possible.
So many people use this class to only shoulder charge and it makes me sad. But finding that insane titan is rare. When you do, you see how good they can be. Great video man. Love the content as always.
As a Titan main, low mobility is a bad idea. Having a slightly higher first jump, is a small price to pay for the ability to peek shoot with a proper mobility stat. Tower barricade is easy to outplay and makes you a sitting duck. If you have to pop it, you're already dead. Rally helps out in more situations when you're trying to hold ground or snipe with your hand cannon/fusion rifle/pulse/whatever and benifits everyone around it. Rally provides good protection from range if you crouch, and you can pop up instantly to get the first shot on your opponent.
One of my favorite shield techniques is throwing a shield when cover isn't close and you're caught in the open or taking a zone. You're enemies will try to get you to rotate around to the skinny side or jump over top, but even then it's still effective if you stay low, particularly if you're rocking Citans Ramparts, since you'll be shooting through the shield and they'll be missing shots laying lead into your shield. If they jump it, slide into the direction they're coming from, hopefully not exposing you to more enemies, and try your best at a shotgun or fusion if you prefired. Hunters and warlocks will get the best of you from time to time though on the jump over, other titans are less likely to make that move from my experience. And people will hate you for it, but crouching behind doors with your shoot through shield is the easiest way to get the jump on a person when the distance from the corner to the door is shotgun KO distance.
I use the shoulder charge as my way to dodge while in mid air for an instant direction change, which ever way your facing when you activate it is where you'll redirect too,,, and doing a quick double jump to the side while facing forward to activate your jet boost and then a quick deactivation will give you quick side to side speed without keeping you up in the air for longer than a few seconds
I really like this. I mained Titan when I used to play on console, but PC is a different beast and I switched to Warlock. Really haven't given Titan a chance since then
Glad to see videos like this for people who want to experiment with my favorite class. The way strafe works when it comes to setting horizonal movement and granting momentum leads to a lot of possibilities with some creativity and practice.
You know what would be sick. An exotic that allows you to throw your barricade like a grenade. No bounce but as soon as this nade/orb hit the ground the barricade forms. This would cancel the animation decreasing deployment time and allow for some tricky shit like giving a teammate some cover when they get caught out in the open.
Ay BRAVExHERO. For your upcoming Warlock video, you should point out that Icarus Dash can be changed to a single button press rather than double tap in the custom button layout option to make it way easier to skate through the air.
For anyone getting frustrated trying to pull of the sliding into a barricade placement technique on console, try setting your barricade bind to DOUBLE TAP R3 (on PS4) (right stick double press if you’re an Xbox player). I use this and it’s been phenomenal. Definitely give it a try
I'm on console. I run traction, dunemarchers, T5 mobility, and I play on 9 sensitivity. You can change angle with the slide, it's not as fluid as PC but it is possible at current frame rates. Next gen consoles will make it better.
@@SixTough with a relatively fast sensitivity and traction you can turn faster while in the air. Which makes it possible for the snappy turn and change in direction. I run 8 sens and traction so i can do it consistently

it's possible to do it on console,i've seen nimble hunters that use slide to change directions,he was toughest opponents i've ever fought against,he runs away and gets close way too fast,it was almost impossible to kill him,i'm guessing he set sensivity to max plus traction.

100 mobility on a warlock is fine but pretty much only of you use astrocyte verse. A high initial jump can give your blink more height if you need it and more blink angles when timed right. If you're using dawnblade high mobility isn't good.
