- African cholera broke out on a farm due to lack of knowledge and buying pigs of unknown origin to the farm. Carry African cholera to the pigs on the farm. African cholera kills many pigs on farms, causing heavy damage.
After 6 months, if you want to restore the pig herd, you need to buy pigs from reputable places, safe pigs, guaranteed to be disease-free.

Watching from Kenya. Great to see you are recovering from the Outbreak. We also had a similar case in our farm last year and it caused a lot of loss. What we learnt from the outbreak is :
1. Buy pigs from a reputable farm
2. Always make sure the pigs you bring to your farm from another farm are kept on a separate house for at least two weeks just to be sure they are not sick. don.t keep them under the same roof with your pigs. After two weeks, you can then combine them
3. Have bio- measures security. Have a place where you can deep your feet with a disinfectant to kill any germs from outside
4. Minimize the number of visitors to your pig house
5. Have dustcoats for visitors and two pair of shoes. one pair when you are going into the pigs house and another for when your are outside of the pig house

Also disinfect the pig houses as many times as you like then leave them empty for a while before bringing in other pigs

Lợn dịch tả Châu Phi biểu hiện sốt cao , sưng mí mắt, khịt mũi. Càng tiêm càng bị nặng, không có dấu hiệu khá hơn. 4 đến 5 ngày rồi chảy máu hậu môn và chết. Bệnh tả châu Phi nó ghép với một số bệnh khác, nên triệu chứng cũng khác nhau. Của nhà mình là bị như vậy. Chết sạch chuồng luôn, sau 6 tháng giờ mình bắt đầu nuôi chở lại.👍❤️
