Midnight Suns is a turn-based XCom-like game from Firaxis and Marvel, that offers a unique twist on the classic X-Com combat with the added story elements and characters of the Marvel Universe. All your favorites like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Ghost Rider, and Wolverine are here! This review covers the story, the combat system, and some of the finer points of the Midnight Suns game to help you make an informed decision about whether or not you should sink your time and money into it.

I got it via Epic for free and I absolutely love it.
I got it on a whim on sale and was blown away by how much I enjoyed it
it’s a shame we’re most likely not getting a sequel because i’ve been addicted to this game recently
I agree, when I first started playing it I couldn't put it down
It was given away free on epic recently which says something. The combat is great but the Abbey sections, while well written, get quite repetitive.
I dont think it being free for a time means anything, GTA V was free on epic too for a while
@@Jwibbles07 Yes but about what 8 / 9 years after release as a super Christmas special? 😆If it was making money they'd not be giving it to Epic to give away so soon.

I ignored this game, got it for free on epic to "ehh i suppose I'll see how bad it is".
dozens of hours later I bought the Ultimate Edition on Steam.
This game is AMAZING. not perfect, but the fun factor, attention to detail, and content are off the charts.
It really is extremely well put together. Even the somewhat slower portions weren't enough to make me put it down. The legendary edition is a great pickup on sale

As for the Marvel Midnight Suns.. the only thing I wish it was like "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" where it crosses through alot of interesting areas.
For me I would buy this and try it.. but making a Table Top Boardgame xox.

I guess I'm just different. I loved the game it is one of the few games that I 100% I put 225 hours into this game.
I'm at 107 considering going for a new game plus run to try to 100%
I just stared playing today... its....ok so far... takes some getting used to battle wise
Early on it is a little clunkier,, as you go along and unlock more things the combat system comes together pretty well
Yea I see the 100 dollar edition on 75 percent off sales all the time still haven’t bought lmao maybe 80 percent I might bite

I played it a while ago. My feeling is that it's finely crafted, but overall it isn't very good. They tried, again, to adapt XCOM for consoles. The ideas it tries are good theories, but overall I mostly found it repetitive and annoying.
It is very well put together and definitely a deep game, but I can see the repetitive point of view too. Running through the Abbey doing the same few actions every day gets old
