American television has a tendency to over exaggerate shit. An example would be in hell's kitchen, if you look at chef Ramsay on his British show he's a lot calmer and doesn't yell nearly as much as he does in hell's kitchen, he said during an interview that the producers of hell's kitchen wanted him to be more intense for the show to make it more entertaining. I wouldn't be surprised if the producers made them all talk a lot more stupid than they actually do normally for the sake of making the show more entertaining. Reality TV is one of the biggest shams in television, most of it isn't true at all.
They talk and seem different because they are directed here, major time. They are acting!

Hope she gets some mental health as well. As someone who went from 236 lbs to 130 lbs without surgery, it can really mess up your mind. Your relationships change and you end up losing some people in your life. A lot of jealousy came afterward from some of my friends. You find out which people felt more comfortable with you being the fat one and just can't handle the change. I am happy for her and hope she maintains. I have stayed the same size for 6 years now.

Thank you. The most hurtful thing that I was accused of was being a drug user for losing weight, and that came from my own sister in law, who I no longer talk to. Another was I had bulimia or anorexia. I never even took a diet pill the whole time. I just started counting calories and finally realized I was consuming way to many that were not necessary. I just started balancing the calories out with my food choices.
I went from 264 lbs to 152 lbs this past 13 months (Goal weight is 134 lbs) and I'm still working on my relationship with food so I 100% agree with therapy and checking your mental health. The other night I ate 6000+ calories and immediately scheduled a visit with my therapist as I'm diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder and don't want to go down that path again. The hardest thing about losing weight is the mental aspects. My mind is at a back and forth either rooting for my success or wanting to binge eat. I'm taking it one day at a time though.
jrandjanet I'm really sorry that humans can be so ugly and negative. You did awesome and you don't have to defend yourself ever from people that are jealous. Look at all the negative comments on this video. Grown ups calling a child fat and pig. And most of these people are parents. They deserve to be ignored.

That is exactly what happens with your brain. When you are fat, you still see that thin person you were until you see your reflection in a mirror or a window shop. Then when you lose that weight and are a normal size you still see your reflection as what you were used to seeing when you saw it when you were fat.
How about help your daugter lose the weight too...
And I really don't mean that as an insult to Alana, she is beautiful and a valuable person but that weight will get her sick and kill her. Being so obese and shes like what, 11? She's gonna have fucked up knees and ankles before she turns 20, huge risk for diabetes and so on. Been there done that, I wish someone would've stopped my weight gain when I was a child and a teenager.

"con-demn": disapproval,criticize, chastise,or adverse judgement of disapproval. But I also know this is the show having her act this way for ratings. I personally do not like reality shows and DO NOT watch them. This was a RUclips video that I clicked on to see what June looked like with her weight loss. Not the actually show. I did not realize that by being happy for her for losing weight and wanting to see how she looks now, was being a HYPOCRITE. I guess I have a different opinion then others do. Just because I don't like the show or something the person does, it doesn't mean ( IN MY OPINION ONLY) that I have to dislike the person or can't be happy for their accomplishments, and want to see how they are doing. RodneysLife- yes I do understand that. Every single parent on this earth raises their child different the the other. They might have the same ideas and opinions but still do them in their own way. Just like raising my 3 children, and my sisters 3 children, after she passed away, I had my own ways and opinions. My way happened to be not using swear words while talking to them, and getting them out for plenty of exercise so they didn't end up with health problems. And my biggest thing I practiced when raising my children was to NEVER bring the man back into the home and near my children, that had molested my children, and allow him to stay there at the home and sleep with him. Which IS what this woman did. I think its funny that I speak MY OPINION on something and I get a bunch of flack from people, but this woman can bring her childs molester back into the home and she gets proection.

However, I wish she would take as much time and get Alana & Pumpkin to join her for a walk, working out and eating healthier too. I hope Momma June doesn't lose herself after losing all this weight. Also, I don't agree how she speaks and allows her children to use some language when they speak but you can see she's raising them as always to know family comes first. I love their tightness.
