A super masculine guy(like that chad guy in meme) can be gay. It is sexual preference. People don't "behave gay"
How do you behave straight?? According to you only men who speak loudly like women ? Or soft speakers are also straight? You lack commonly known information bro. It's not colonial time anymore ,we don't have anti trans and anti gay laws. Stop being homophobic. Why is being gay or transgender a joke? Fir toh being straight pe bhi joke maro? Kyunki tum straight ,trans aur gay paida hote ho. Tumhe koi jabardasti bole ki tu ladki se nahi ladko se relationship rakh aur unhi se shaddi kar.karoge? Tum gay paida hi nahi hue toh ladko mein intrest nahi hoga. Jis lakdi ko ladkiyo mein interest hai woh paida hi ese Hui toh ismein uski kya galti. This is very normal. There are documentaries made on homosexual animals. It is natural. As normal as a 5 year old kid walking

Vivek ji, you cannot contact a govt officer. I tried to contact the DM of a district, I emailed, phoned 3 numbers from the website, only one rang the other 2 says wrong number. There was 2 email address. My message from one email came back undelivered, other email went to the DM but I never received a reply. Even the DM mobile number is on website he never answers the phone. Indian govt officers are under trained, lazy, corrupt.
You mentioned tourism and Taj. My dream was to visit the Taj so made the trip in 2011. As a NRI we paid God knows how much more, waited for 2hrs in queue. The security persons were letting in people through the back door via the paid dalals. We were approached but denied their service. In the end we got in, we took some photos leading up to the Taj which took half hour. We just reached the Taj to go in only to be told by the security guards to leave the Taj, why? "VIP visit". We were horrified. They told us to come back the next day and use the same ticket. But we were not staying the night in Agra. We asked who this VIP was. Some of them said they don't know. As we were going out of Taj other tourists were just as horrified and told us that the VIP was a Supreme Court judge and his family. If tourists are treated like this forget about India being a tourist country.
The other very annoying thing is the civil etiquette of the citizens, the glare, interference, asking personal questions and over all trust??
India has a long to go. The mind set and politics is the main problem. India need to mature which will take another 2/3 generations. You need a huge social revolution.

You should have gone deeper into tourism …. Completely ignored medical and corporate tourism …. Cities like Dubai attract more tourists due to the Corporate events and expos compared to india …. We don’t even bid for such events on a world level …. We have the facilities also … plus any Corporate person spends a lot more money than a regular budget traveler …. Such verticals of tourism should be developed faster …

Any Government department apart from defense is compromised. 50% compromised by getting reservation candidate's who are not in due to merit. The onus is on the remaining 50%. Again those reservation candidates will have fast track promotion and higher increments. Unless the quality of people you recruit is suited for the job, very little is expected sadly.

Until our education system and the facilities available are better, if you are not studying in private school in North India there is very low chance for you to do anything. Except for government jobs, in private sector virtually every job has a requirement for the candidate to speak english, but a student from a government school..... whose English might not be as good as someone from a private school....an invisible divide has been created among two sects of people living in India, the English speaking generally high cast people with more ANI dna.. and the rural language speaking who are generally low caste people with more ASI dna. This divide needs to be removed, we are loosing millions of potential youth because we are unable to utilise fully our human resource. Why is china and usa always top in Olympics, because they have a very good education system which utilizes their human resource to a much greater extent than our Indian system

The only thought that has been on my mind over the whole podcast is..If he knew about all those problems in the tourism sector. Why didn't he improve upon those? Why did he leave the service and now making us count all the drawbacks.

Why there is a political party concept in elections? Imagine there is governing body which is under central government will conduct candidate based elections in the region based on names of individuals not with symbol of party, and the selected candidates will report to central and do their job instead of calling them leaders. I hope this process can change all the narrative of politics since this eliminate bad guys from system since it is individual based concept and people no need to worry about party will get bad name or people sitting on top of party will govern all candidates in political party end up controlling whole state leading in bad direction.

I was not IAS, but immense political pressure from all parties, some threatening. Associations and courts dont save you. The widely accepted belief that laws do not apply to politicians is responsible for 80% of the corruption, mismanagement and delays in public work. Remaining 20% is incompetence and lack of professionalism among bureacrats.

Preparing for IAS etc. is collosal waste of human power. I have known many intelligent people who is preparing for IAS(cleared prelims /mains many times) for many years and end up wasting all their young productive years. They could have done very well in private/startup sector and helped nation building instead.

I feel everyone should prepare for UPSC at least once in a lifetime. I prepared for 2 years for 2 consecutive attempts later joined in IT industry. Trust me I don’t want to go to overseas now. I love my country now. I’m working for an NGO as a hobby. I want to start a business on PET bottles to sandals which is still in the initial stages. It made me aware of my country. Made me responsible. Made me read newspaper every single day.

It itself a responsible job to do. Can't privatize it coz it has no dealing with performance indicators of organisation.its more like how your individual mindset can impact the society which will eventually leads to nation growth rather than an organisational growth.

It will come down to accountability and service to people.
No private Civil servant will do that in developing countries at least.
You are governed by Govt, Civil servants are executive part of govt i.e permanent executive,
How people are supposed to interact with govt ?
Ab har bar aap CM se to mil nahi sakte.
So there is a ecosystem of govt officials in which IAS are in very high level.
They are the mediator b/w you and govt.
So by definition they need to be govt officials
