I thought that Overkill simply couldn't make special weapons like RPG or Minigun work on VR beta, but seeing how mods are doing it I'm actually wondering what's the real reason...
They are trying to polish it off. They didn't say the weapons were NEVER coming.. Things like Bows and whatnot would need special reload mechanics and whatnot. It is after all only a Beta.
"Special reload animation". Implying that auto reload in VR is not enough? However, you do have a point with manual reload. Although shotgun reload in VR is... Ugh...

I was thinking they been just working on trying to make those weps work as good as possible but seeing them in action here, it looks like they're already good enough to fuck with.
Recording the main game window doesn't really represent what I'm seeing, so I recorded the view from the eyes instead. I'll record the main window for any future videos though.
