No reload animation will ever impress me like the AK empty reload

I find it interesting that the quality of weapon animations in PD2 increased so massively compared to PD:TH, but the third person animations are still equally as terrible (aside from PD2 getting jumping animations 2 years after release).
Meh, at least they updated those. The original 3rd person animations in PD2 were awful, the new ones aren't amazing but they're definitely an improvement especially because they allow different reloads for different weapon types like bullpups and such.
@@mekeith23 Meanwhile pretty much 90% of the bullpup guns in game share the exact same empty reload anim (KS12, Grimm 12G, KETCHNOV Byk-1, Union 5.56 to name a few)
Basically not a singel update to the 3rd person animation system from PDTH -> PD2. Same mocap library. Same horrendious Comprimation of animations (The compression basically removed all details in the animation - For prestanda reasons).
FP anims did not have compression and was widely appreciated by the community, thus most effort was put into those :). It was also more fun to keyframe than cleaning mocap.

Guys- why are you complaining about 3rd person reload animations? You can only see them in... 3rd person
The AK reload always looked like he never changes the magazine and just says fuck it and slams that empty mag back in
He probably refilled that thing with spare 7.62mm rounds from somewhere underneath their suit.
I will always have a soft spot for this game's awkward and stiff animation.

The quality of these reload aren't good yet they're so satisfying to look and listen which makes it good
Payday The Heist's Brenner reload feels so natural, like Dallas struggling to put it on the first time, but succeeding in the second try.
Probably one of the least weapons with Trigger Discipline
The way the magazine takes a second to remove too. There so much tension in the reload while it still looks static. Clean
they're really static compared to PD2's reloads but god if they aren't hot
especially that damn AK which I still want to be modded into PD2
Honestly? These are still better than some of the later weapon packs added to Payday 2.
The reloads are so simple yet good for me.

the bronco and ak reloads man... so good
like i understand they're sorta slow and clunky
but the weapon animations in this game make it feel like the guns have a solid amount of weight and you're struggling to keep em up

The pdth to payday 2 jump was insane. Too bad payday 2 reload animations are degrading after the animator for most of the guns left.

Is there any mod that changes the sound of the weapons for a more realistic one? something similar to what was seen in Heat the movie

I referring to the first or second reload cuz the first one is when you still have rounds but second one is fully empty. If you a referring to the sound after the magazine is interested after the first ones like if you were racking it then yea it’s kinda funky
