Thanks! I found the type I needed and you gave me the confidence to just twist and pull to get one out so that I was able to order a pack. I have metric calipers so it was easy for me to see that I need the 32mm x 6.2mm size.
I have some traditional arrows that a man put togerher for me and the nocks fit looser then i thought they should have but i had just got a new Kodiak and couldn't wait to fire a few at a targer shot great no problems until it didn't. evidently the arrow came un nocked when i drew it back. i dont know but i dry fired it. I immediately got sick not knowing what had actually happened and still dont. so what could have happened. anyone might have an idea ? it has a feather rest.
I am using Beiter Pin nocks on both Compound (Hunter Large) and Recurve ( Asymetric small). I find them easy to use and the Beiters fit tighter than the Easton nocks. Am I being foolish using pin nocks or are they ok?
@@Archery360 Thanks for taking the time to answer! Very kind of you. I’m using the asymmetric nocks on recurve and hunter nocks on compound. I switched my recurve to a GAS bow string and the fit is much better, perfect I think. $60.00 for a recurve string seems like a lot but it is at least as important a component of the system as anything else and a lot more important than most. I hate to be a Beiter fanboy but I always look to see what they have and what they are doing. They don’t ever do things for no reason.

Bear X crossbows usually come with 1/2 crescent nocks. They are really shallow. Hope I can find light up ends for them.

As long as you are using the pin nocks with an appropriate string diameter and poundage, go with what works for you.
