- In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2010 Ford F150 Platinum. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this Truck while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this truck designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
My dad bought a lariat in 2010, it was the nicest vehicle I had ever seen. I was 8 at the time. I’m now 20, and I have the truck and drive it in college. Just clocked over to 160,000 miles today. Best truck ever, I don’t think I’ll sell it, mostly because of the sentimental value
My dad also bought a 2010 lobo lariat and still has it today, only difference is i was 7 at the time haha

My dad owns a long bed 2012 king ranch ecoboost and it's a great truck. But the 2010s are my favorite just because of the old 5.4
Last year I found one of these at the New York International Auto Show and was very impressed with it. I thought it looked great, but once I got inside I was really surprised to find how spacious and how luxurous it was. It was not what you would expect from a pickup truck. Great car

Caddy Man same here. My mom had one that her work gave her. I really wanted to hate it and I tried but I ended up loving it. It’s the vehicle I learned how to drive in so it has a special place in my heart lmao. I used to be a GM guy 😂
My cousin is the Plant Manager for the F150 in Detroit and i'm proud to say that too. F150 best selling pickup truck for 28 years in a row thats impressive.

The Console Shift is my most favorite kind of gear selector.
For me personally I love the steering column shifter

I love that the used vehicles have a lot of sounds, illuminations and amenities like the new vehicles because they have a lot, a world of things

My mom used to have this same truck, same color. Absolutely smooth and roomy to a T. Had to trade in for a bigger truck (diesel) to pull a large trailer effortlessly.

Definitely a great choice.
It gets terrible MPG. Not a good idea for a daily driver.
My Camaro is horrible on gas, so for me It doesn't sound all that bad.
It's better than the Silverado's MPG. That's for sure. With the Ecoboost it gets like 16 city 25-26 HWY. So it's not bad for a full sized Half ton pick up. You gotta admit that.
Ford Is Best. my Camaro has bigger cams, new heads, and a whole list of new better performance parts and all that plus a little rinky' dink 14 gallon tank. Shut gas only last a week even when only driven a couple days out of the week. Tucks with bad mpg sound like a life saver, my brother is getting rid of his Honda accord, I was thinking of buying it off of him just to have a second car that doesn't kill gas like lions kill gazelles.
Lately I've been gaining a much greater appreciation of Ford's vehicles. Nice truck
Kyle when you raised the backseats up, you forgot to mention the "grocery grabbers", you can hook your grocery bags onto those, to prevent them from spilling and sliding around. :)

@92ASC For the 2011 model year they're going to be coming out with 2 v6's with over 300 hp and 2 v8's with between 350 to 400+ hp.So the F-150 has been upgraded now.

That's a sweet ass truck. I'm not a truck person really, I mean, I like SUVs and trucks, but I never saw myself as someone who would buy a truck (I already have an Explorer) but this is one truck I would definitely buy..if I could afford it, that is.
Ford has always made the best trucks. The F150 completely revolutionized the pickup truck industry, proving a truck didn't have to be a big, ugly basic vehicle and that it was possible to build a luxury truck with the same features and options or even more than what you'd expect in a regular vehicle.

I have a question, would it be better to swap a out the v8 in the truck for a 3 cylinder or would it be best to put a high final drive so it tops out at 100 mph in 6th gear?

I think the first time he shows the outside car, and then goes inside drivers side and reviews that. He then goes out once more and reviews rears seats, trunk/boot and passenger side. Makes sense!

@Hustle095 very true indeed. i went thru a road constructione zone. where the road was graveled up loosley. and a rock hit my oil pan. just crackin it slightly and showed up at work wit no oil in the pan. not nowing it. till lunchtime it made a clackin sound when i tried to start it. checked it out put sum jb weld on da pan filled her up next day. it made da same noise but after 5-6 seconds it got quite n ran. the construction site was 24 miles away

Dad had exact same one even the color was the same. The motor only lasted 140k miles. Give it an exception since it was treated like a farm truck and towed two live horses on a trailer.

What I like about this truck is that the shifter is in the center console, rather than on the steering wheel.

Yeah my dad has a tacoma pretty small truck but absolutely no problems with it except that its a little back end light so it needs some weight in the back for winter
But summers fine i myself think that my next purchase is gonna be an f150 they are great i know a lot of people with them but gas is kinda bad on f150 no?

2010 f150 made 310 hp max, 2010 Tundra made 381 hp max. 2012 F150 makes 411 hp max, 2012 Tundra makes 381 hp max. In 2011 Ford came out with 4 all new engines for the F150.
