    The eink guru lives up to his reputation - The eink community would be lost in the wilderness without these videos.

    I was so much waiting for this video to come. After watching your videos, I think I am confident enough to make good suggestions to people who get interested into e-ink devices. Thank you for these amazing contents.

    thank you so much!!!!!!! I've seen lots of your deep reviews recently and they are very very detailed and helpful. I'm thinking of getting a e ink tablet for uni and i think that this one might be good

    If this feels like pen on paper i would much prefer it over the pencil on paper feel that other companies try to emulate. I find it odd that they try to do that because most people would normally take notes on a physical notepad with a pen and not a pencil. Maybe a pencil feel is better for sketching but they could design different nibs for each purpose i would imagine.

    I am a professional artist. Which E-ink pad be best for drawing with or without colour. Specifically one that feels most like paper with an excellent pen

    Will be interesting to see how this compares to the other new big-boy competitor, the Amazon Scribe. This looks like a very premium device, although not having the warm light is a big miss by Huawei.

      Yupps, will definitely be interesting how it compares :)

    If the pen is accidentally dropped on the ground, will it still be as sensitive as before? Since it is metal, will it be more damaged than plastic?

    • @MyDeepGuide
      @MyDeepGuide  Год назад

      Hm, I don't know what do you mean "as before", but no, it's very well built and has no loose parts to it. It's just a single piece of aluminium, and as such, it's very sturdy.

      It doesn't use a standard nib, more like the one on the Apple pencil, so no on that as well.

      They are equally good, with Boox having a slight advantage because it has Google Play store and allows easier access to Android apps.

    I am very clumsy and absent-minded; so, I am very worried of dropping it or sitting over it. Do you feel it to be strong enough in these circumstances?

    • @MyDeepGuide
      @MyDeepGuide  2 года назад +2

      I really can't give an answer to that, as anything will have a breaking point, if it exposed to frequent falling, bending, and smacking.

    • @jomateix6218
      @jomateix6218 2 года назад

      @@MyDeepGuide Sorry, I have no expressed myself properly and narrowed down the circumstances. I meant the screen's substrate is glass and not plastic, unlike Boox Note or Likebook Mimas/Alita. It's like Kobo's Elipsa's, I guess.
      Maybe with a proper cover it would be tougher to bend, but not sure if it falls.
