The regular Scout is way more comfortable than the bobber version. If you're a tall guy, you should probably get the regular Scout.
my vote goes to the scout bobber too. that thing looks sick... really gives the "iron horse" vibe
I've said for 3 yrs in these comments: get the Scout bobber, it wil BLOW you away and for fun throw in the solo saddle for that classic 20s look.
The 883 is not a bobber and to get the engine where you want it you need a stage 3 or 4 upgrade which is stupid expensive. Not to mention everything you need to bob it out.
I think you would like a Triumph. the stock exhaust sounds perfect. my choice for a bobber.
The Triumph bobber and the Indian Scout Bobber are both outrageous! They’re both a blast to ride. You can’t go wrong with either one.
The Scout bobber is a great bike by all accounts. But have you looked at the FTR 1200? The flat track style kind of blends the muscle cruiser, bobber, naked bike aesthetic and is a blast to ride. I think they're quite good looking bikes.
I was riding a Ninja 1100 back in 2001, after 10 Budweisers, at night, and I forgot where the gear shifter was. So I stopped, got off the bike, and it started falling my way. I very gently let it down on the pavement. I eventually got it up and drove it back home. My point is that it was HELL picking the bike back up. If I wasn't a weightlifter all these years... that bike would have stayed on the road and got my ass in trouble!!! So hit the gym and hit the weights to get some strength if you're going to ride a big bike.

I have a rebel 250 bobbed out, only goes 75, but for just cruising around, rarely faster than 60, no need for big horspower, just a nice quiet relaxing nimble ride... had an indian scout 60, no shortage in power, more than the chassis and brakes can handle.
So I dig the Victory Octane, BUT I traded in my Moto Guzzi (MG) V11 Sport Ballabio for an MG V9 Bobber Sport! It’s lightweight, midrange power, but it handles great in the mountains and on gravel/dirt roads, too! 6-speed, 55HP, ABS, weighs 440lbs, a 4 gallon tank, Ohlins rear suspension, and it’s matte orange and black, just in time for Halloween!
Any bobber but yes especially the scout bobber would be a great addition to the channel to change things up a bit. I love the way that thing looks too, Indian makes some of the most beautiful cruisers!
I recommend a kawasaki vulcan 1700. I rode a vulcan 1500 for a year and it was awsome.
Don't know if you want new or used, but you can't beat the Sportster 48 for a bobber. Forward controls and 12" mini apes hangers are the most comfortable ride ever man. Don't knock em till you try em, they look uncomfortable but ape hangers are the most comfy bars out there

Bobbers look cool, the Indian and Triumph are my favorites from the factory. I do want to try one at some point, but they’re down on the list of bikes that I’d like to own. They don’t seem all that practical and since I’m now getting into touring and moto-camping, they don’t fit my purposes at this time.

I think the best looking factory Bobber is the Triumph. Also sounds rad with that 1200 twin with 270° crank.
I had the HD Iron 883 for about 4 years and was a great bike. Not a single issue, great memories with that bike
Harley Street Bob. Huge amount of aftermarket support for the bike, dealerships everywhere, 114 motor, great looking, and when you decide to sell it you won't take a bath. I personally know someone with a Triumph rocket who cannot find a needed part that broke on his...so his bike has been sitting for over six months unable to be ridden.
The Iron883 is geared lower than the 1200s. Adding a 1275 big bore kit bumps you up to 100 Hp/100Tq, that Iron will wheelie with ease. I kind of miss mine but after moving to the boonies I needed something that was more comfortable for long distance. I went to a Dyna & then a M8 Road King- which'll also wheelie if you crank it too hard.

Indian Scout is great! Get it if you can. Kawasaki Vulcan 650 is also good for cheaper option.
From factory built bobbers,I like Triumph Bonneville Bobber 20, HD Sportster 48, Indian Scout Bobber and Jawa Perak. However,custom made bobbers are unique and usually look much cooler. I even thought about turning my bike into a bobber at one point.
Triumph Bobber the way to go. Instant torque. I had the speed master which uses the same engine. Best cruiser I’ve owned so far
I just recently traded my 05 hayabusa for a 2011 sportster 1200 that has a la pera single bobber seat man it’s a nice chill comfortable ride! Nothing like just cruising around and it’s narrow, compact, and has torque! Not to mention cheaper insurance!😂
Indian Scout Bobber in Smoke 💨 White. The Blue looks Awesome. The Harley Davidson is Stylish for beginners. Honda Rebel is ok but is to Plastic🍷

IMHO Indian should raise the suspension of Scout Bobber by 1.25 to 1.5". freeinidaho raised his with his customization method, and he is a professional machinist for 50 years. What he got is very good lean angle on a almost sport bike cruiser.
Why not just buy the regular Scout?
If you got an Iron, build it to stage 4, nothing will touch you up to 100 mph. The character and sound that bike could have, performance suspension, you’d have a perma 💩 grin on your face.
Triumph bobber. I think it will be my next bike. It also comes in red and a few other coolers this year I believe. Plus you get the 2 year warranty.

I'm biased so have to give a vote for my bike, a '21 H-D Street Bob. It's badass and smokes the others in terms of torque. Of those on your list, though, I'd go with the Scout or, as others said a Rebel 1100.
If you don't get the HD SportsterS, you should get the Indian Bobber Scout.
I've been looking at the Kawasaki 650 Vulcan S, but it's a stalemate with so many options out there.

@@CycleCruza Yeah it's a cool bike but I grew up riding dirt bikes, KX 250's, Yamaha 125's, and the kicker is my very first motorcycle was an early 1970's model 250cc (Bored 4 sizes over)Bultaco Pursang. Damn if that bike didn't damage my spine because the shocks sucked. Bottom line... I absolutely love your bike! That's right up my alley. Keep putting up the great videos! I've learned a lot from your channel.

The Triumph Bobber comes in black, red and "Ironstone". The tank is 3,2 gallons, up-sized recently from 2.4. Expensive? Yes, but you get double disc ABS brakes up front, cruise control, ride modes, liquid cooled 6 speed, etc. Hard to find, though. The Bolt? The 883 is good, a Bolt is a reliable 883 but the handling is odd. Triumph is supposed to be amazing. The Rebel 500 I don't see you being happy with, not your style and certainly too little power. You might be better off with the Rebel 1100. I think you'd like the Scout if you can get one with mids.

Triumph Bobber has the worst seat of all. Even the Thruxton R will be more comfortable. The best cheap bike in my opinion is the Victory Octane. You can buy them for $6-7k used. The suspension sucks but the engine is awesome (for a cruiser). Just make sure to replace the stock pipes with Rinehart's.
For me nr 1 bobber is Indian Chief Bobber.

Great video CC! I've always wanted to try (at least) a bobber, maybe I'll buy an older one. Here in EU, it is a little bit hard with Indian, but they are so cool. Maybe Kawasaki Vulcan could be a good one too, or some older bobbers. Hopefully, you will have a chance to ride one, I remember times when you had that Xdiavel!! That was a fantastic ride! Bobbers can be kind of strange. I've seen everything from a VTX 1800 to an actual goldwing chopped down bobber style. They can look real cool but the ones where they remove the rear fender scares me. I might hit something in the road and land on that back tire. :)
Yeah I've seen all kind of custom bobbers. They chop them up! They are so cool that the bike companies started building production bobbers.

Yeah, for real though, there's lots of creative things I dig and some things when I see them I think they're doing way too much. I've seen the front fenders removed too. Won't they get lots of grime and debris from the road scratching up their helmet or get extra dusty?

I'm not the biggest fan of the fat front tire but it does look cool on some bobbers. However, I'd rather have better performance over looks.
The best bobber build is the honda shadow vlx 600
I don't like the Indian at all. Those forward controls are terrible and absolutely no suspension travel. Also the Harley 883 is $9749 and the Iron 1200 is only $500 more. As far as the Rebel goes I would also pay more to get the 1100. It has more suspension travel than a lot of the others.
