Really beautiful. Thank you so much for teaching us. You are both natural teachers. Envisioning the finish puts fuel on the stitching fire. I could see putting real sunflower seeds to the jar to help hold the flowers.
You make it look so easy! Thanks for mentioning the basket that you had taken off! I had forgotten about that & probably would have spent a lot of time looking for the wood piece without the basket! Thanks for taking the time to film putting this together!
Thank You for repeating Your finishing technique! I started out using a glue gun making floral displays, and, after burning My fingers, began using the yellow Platex gloves. I do have to pull the finger of the glove away if hot glue gets on it directly, but have saved myself from burns. I have now finished cross stitch projects like yours, with the gloves, with no problem. I also found using a metal coffee can to set and store the glue gun in, is handy. I recently "upgraded" to using the Pioneer Woman Onion ceramic canister, lining the bottom with aluminum foil. :)
Have been looking for how to do this. This is great. For extra fabric around the large 8x8" piece, if you want a one inch border all around it would be a 10x10" piece. Thus you add two inches to the size of the frame so you have one inch on each side.
When you don't even have the charts yet, but still watch the whole video. So cute! Your finishes have such influence on the community -- you should be really proud of the work you've done and the inspiration you've shared with all of us. 💖
Excellent tutorial. I went to my nearest Hobby Lobby in Lafayette, IN and wouldn't you know they were sold out of the board. The clerk couldn't understand it. I told her you was a huge supporter of Hibby Lobby and I wasn't surprised it was gone. You must have a lot of fans in the Lafayette area.
Love, Love, LOVE this piece!!! Thanks for doing the tutorial again. Great refresher for me. I didn't buy the big piece, I made mine with some scrap boards I had laying around. It was very easy and cheap. My hooks are smaller but still looks good. Can't wait to make the August Calendar Crate!!!
This is exactly what I needed!! Thank you so much for the tutorial! Super helpful! I’m almost finished with July and grabbed all the finishing supplies so I will hopefully be working on it this weekend! You guys are the best!!
This series of patterns are gorgeous!!!! I want to stitch each month! Your finishing is lovely. And this tutorial was terrific! This wood board is no longer available from Hobby Lobby. I loved it! 😢 Any other ideas you could share?
I also wonder if you used strips instead of the board being completely covered in fabric. Just a tip to save fabric and money ( to buy more patterns lol). That’s it.....you guys need to make jelly rolls and honey bun rolls with your fabric. Question..... do you ever use pinking shears to trim your cross stitch to keep it from fraying?
Priscilla, your talent just amazes me, in such a short time you’ve created a beautiful display, thank you for sharing your time and talents with us!!!! 💚🌻💚
Too freaking cute!!! LOVE the sunflowers!! Priscilla's tale about gluing her fingers brought back many similar memories! I've glued my fingers so much I cannot be fingerprinted on those electronic fingerprint machines!! I do that for work and people think I'm kidding but nope! I've freaking burned my dang fingerprints off on several fingers due to glue gun injuries LOL. It's a thang!! ROFLOL. Love your designs Priscilla! So much talent in such a sweet lady!! Adore you!! Hugs from NE Ohio.
Thank you! I learn something from you every video. I did my corners differently than you. I'm going to try your way when I finished two projects (hopefully today).
Thanks for the video. I am off to hobby lobby: they should pay you. I hear your Priscilla I was pulling weeds this morning I don’t think my hands will be clean until August.
Thank you for step by step of your beautiful finishing. Does the white sticky board not show through the holes of crosstitch weave? I found it does in black and navy.
I just discovered you wonderful ladies and I have purchased the crate and kit for July :) Can you tell me where I can find the proper magnets to use? Amazon has some self-adhesive magnets for crafting, but they seem less chunky and durable than the ones in your video. It’s hard to tell through a camera. Thank you!
I find out that if I leave a little or a lot on the cross stitch cloth fabric it is really bulky when I fold in the back sides into a corners!!! I shove mine in also but it still comes out the same. I have even made an X in the back side to make sure it is pointed to the middle. I have even counted the rows to come out the same width on all 4 corners. It still turns out the same!!!
Can't wait to make this project. I just picked up my piece from Hobby Lobby. What are the magnets you are using? Anything special I should be looking for? Thanks.
Thanks for video, you’re the fastest finisher ever ♥️❤️♥️

I SOOOOOOO LOVE IT = the Plaid Sunflowers really make this pattern.
You are so creative Priscilla. Love this. Thank you for sharing.
You make it look so easy!!!! Thanks to both of you for doing what you do for all of us that love cross stitching with you.

You make it look easy peasy! I added a little twinkle lites in my jar, I found them at Walmart ( battery Operated). Thanks for the Tutorial.
Looks great! Thanks for taking the time to do a video.

You work so quickly! Love the finish with the checks & plaid! So professional, but easy enough for a newbie to do!

Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant!!! Thank you so much! I used to make mop head dolls. Gluing/burning fingers was a part of the process.
So cute! 🌻 Thanks for taking the time to show how it is done. 🌻 It looks so bright and cheerful.🧵🪡🌻

Thanks for sharing! So smart to place the washers on to the magnets and glue them there! Easier than what I have been doing! 😩
Thanks so much for sharing this video with us. Watching you do this really helps me understand better how to do it. You’re the best!
❤️ it as always! Thank you for taking the time to show us!

This is exactly what I needed!! Thank you so much for the tutorial! Super helpful! I’m almost finished with July and grabbed all the finishing supplies so I will hopefully be working on it this weekend! You guys are the best!!
You easily take off the paper from the sticky bird! I always have issues with that lol!
This series of patterns are gorgeous!!!! I want to stitch each month! Your finishing is lovely. And this tutorial was terrific! This wood board is no longer available from Hobby Lobby. I loved it! 😢 Any other ideas you could share?
Looks awesome. “Fill in the butt cracks”🤣😂😜. Love it. Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️
You make it look so easy. It looks just beautiful! Thank you. 🌻😊💛
Perfection! Love the buffalo plaid sunflowers!
You can use a quilting ruler and frixon pen to get accurate placement of sticky board onto the fabric.
Love the way you finished this!! It’s so cheerful and colorful!! The best!!!!

Thank you very much!
Great tutorial! Thanks so much.
I have finished the large main piece of the July Calendar Crates with an unintended change but I’m not worried because it makes it mine 😆
Ty so much can't wait to get this one!

Thank you for step by step of your beautiful finishing. Does the white sticky board not show through the holes of crosstitch weave? I found it does in black and navy.
