Roger was a key shop employee at F40 and important contributor on the tv show. Still working for Wayne when he was about 80-yrs old and he had a serious health issue. Had to start a gofundme to help pay bills because he had no employer provided health insurance. Roger went somewhere else after recovery and doesn't have much comment about the past. Many fans expressed dissatisfaction with Roger's treatment by Wayne.
I hate when fools run their mouths. I was in the military and was promised free healthcare for life should I retire, the Governement back out of their promise and now I have to pay for insurance (albeit at a discount not not much lower than discounted Obamacare prices for those who never served). Now when I turn 65 I’m shoved onto Medicare instead of tricare like Roger is force on Medicare at age 65 you idiots. It’s nationalize healthcare for the elderly and btw F40 motor sports paid their half of Roger’s Medicare taxes or else Way e would be in jail in idiots
Met him in Arizona at Mecum. I shook his hand and was excited to meet him. He didn’t reciprocate any kind of sincere interest in me. Little did he know; I have a large collection of classic, mostly muscle cars. He could give a shit and missed an opportunity. Oh well.
The thing I don't like about Wayne is that he tells some little old lady the he wants her car for his personal collection, So he gets it at a very very good price then two weeks later he has it at some auction. This tactic just rubs me the wrong way.
He tries to come across as so passionate about the cars, but really all he is just another car flipper. He is really passionate about making money, the cars are just the means to that end.
@@joemazzola7387 100% ....tv show or no tv show, he is a used car what can i do to get you in this car today. Also, never once was the price revealed on what he paid for these cars...some from widows.
My close friend who collected Studebaker's and a museum full of them had a dealing with him and had very negative thing to talk about. Not such a righteous guy !
Never liked Wayne and his show. Every show, Wayne would go off camera to make a deal in secret. The viewer never knew what car was worth. Also imo, he treated roger terribly.
Watched his programmes. Was saddened and disappointed when his faithful mechanic was unfairly dismissed and with not much compensation as per a documentary
This entire video is an AI generated waste of time. The video details a lawsuit brought against Gary Disco where Carini was found to have nothing wrong, and a second lawsuit that was "alleged" to have occurred. Clickbait trash that wasted 7 minutes of my time.
The way the treated the guy about the key and luggage tells me Wayne is shady. There is no excuse for the months it took him to give the guy his property back.
Wayne's personality strikes me a a bit robotic. Especially when you hear him talk in his typical monotone sounding manner.... Same goes with the way he moves his body...... His old mechanic sounds more approachable and more down to earth....
Old Wayne would stalk widows for years once he discovered their husbands collectable car was stored in a garage, waiting for their medical bills to force them to sell.
I always noticed that he never took a flashlight with him, he always used his camera flashlight in these dark barns and garages. Seemed he didn't really care about looking at the cars too closely..flip em fast
Come on…. He is a used car sales guy, they only make money from people like us, by buying cheap and selling expensive…. It’s the nature of his business….
Can’t believe Wayne would do that his reputation is on the line watch a lot of tv and never saw a bad tv show this has to be a mistake.Even CNN did a story on him .
He seems as a person you would like to meet. But , I believe he is a bit overbearing. He constantly gets in the face of the techs working on his car. Perhaps not as nice a man. JMO
You'd be surprised how many if these deals are heavily staged. I know someone who visited american pickers one time and mist everything they 'sold ' on the tv show was on location in a spare building.

Is Roger still alive?
How is Roger doing?
Wayne seemed like a tool.

I'll take things that never happened for 500

It's called doing business.
@@JamesSalie No, it's called LYING! The fact you don't know that speaks volumes as to who you are.
He tries to come across as so passionate about the cars, but really all he is just another car flipper. He is really passionate about making money, the cars are just the means to that end.
Most of the cars he buys are not running and have other problems. If you have a collector car and don’t do your research, that’s your problem.
@@JamesSalie business?? Its called a flim flam. Its called bad character. Its called hustling, gimme a break with your business.
After all Wayne carini is just a used car salesman

The way he treated Rodger was reprehensible! That speaks volumes about his character and morals!
Wayne always struck me as a fraud and scammer. Typical used car salesman.
My close friend who collected Studebaker's and a museum full of them had a dealing with him and had very negative thing to talk about. Not such a righteous guy !
Reputation in business is everything.

Wayne, you got greedy! Your secret always comes to the light. For the root of evil is the love of 💰!😮😮😮
Make sure you give the pink slip. They then get the money! Dummy!😢

I always loved watching him lose money on his cars at auctions.
EXTREMELY INTERESTING AND INFORMATIVE!

Got the business from his father and literally drove it into the ground.

Used car salesman gonna used car salesman. 🤷🏻♂️
Why would I give a crap about some used car salesman’s money troubles 😂
Thought he got caught up in doctoring titles and passing cars off as something they weren't...
Come on…. He is a used car sales guy, they only make money from people like us, by buying cheap and selling expensive…. It’s the nature of his business….
He is a businessman, perhaps he rolled weighted dice
Always thought he was a bit slimey. Found Chasing Classic Cars to be a boring show. Story of a used car salesman.
I watched til the end. Love you Wayne!

Wayne, you are reaping what you've sewn
*sown
I never got a good vibe from Wayne. He seems very insincere. I liked his mechanic Roger - Wayne didn’t show a lot of respect for him.
Just came across this video. He always came across as a sort of car shyster on the show.
He seems as a person you would like to meet. But , I believe he is a bit overbearing. He constantly gets in the face of the techs working on his car. Perhaps not as nice a man. JMO
WAYNE IS LAME!!!

Weenie Carini I call him. Seems like he takes advantage of middle class folk an caters to the rich.

Lmno ,they're ALL heavily staged.😅
Wayne was a shyster
