@@frankieperson1275 Look, Putin is bad. That doesn't mean my country's politicians aren't as bad. Personally, I'd have no qualms fighting and dying in a war for America if it wasn't so that those fuckers in DC can get a bigger hot tub.
What is probably most important for you right now is forming alliances/non-aggression pacts with humanity first and/or the academy/the initiative. If you don’t do any deplomacy and are the first to rapidly develop into space, everyone will target you and ruin you. Diplomaticy is vital to success.
I've watched quite a few LPs of this and you're the only US and Kazakstan play I've seen. Plenty going for Kazakstan from EU/Russia/China though. You're going to have an insane amount of boost.
Boost really isn't all that great since your gated by command points making Kazahstan kind of irrelevant without the Russian package your better off developing a nation for heavy economic growth for MC points and I think spoiling Canada early was a very bad option considering that economy is likely merging with the US later spoiling is meant for enemy nations not your future CPs. You will get plenty of boost with development MC will not only let you expand more but it will also let you have more efficient space buildings. I definitely wouldn't be stealing across the map from humanity first who tends to not bother you at all unless you bother them.
@@JT-yl9yt Kazakhstan is really useful to have in the early game, since the boost lets you nab the best outpost locations on Luna and Mars quicker. That is because the early game is a race to Luna and Mars, and if you don't get there first and take the good spots, someone else will.
The thing I find interesting about this game is that it’s basically the political version of Xenonauts which is just a more realistic version of X-com both of which are really good.
> Doesn't have enough boost to take over the moon. I don't want to say I told you so, but I actually do. XD You might want to sell that space station to academy or humanity-first factions. Will solve your boost problem and will get them to like you.

The reason Kaijus in this game are both Plants and Animals are: their vegetable aspects workarounds Square cube law(physical law known for preventing kaijus and giant mechas from exist IRL)
The reason you can’t send your troops in Syria even after the rivalry is gone, as far as I got, is that you need them to be allied as far as I got. Had the same problem with neutral states before. Also this game is never truly random. If you surveil a location where megafauna spawed, you will likely find xenoflora. How this happens is a but of a spoiler I will keep for myself, but one research kinda reveals it.
Here's a few tips to keep in mind going forwards: Persuasion is good early game(around 10 or 12) though there are certain missions where having an agent with a 20 or 25 persuasion can be very good later on. You will absolutely need an agent(doesn't have to be the same one) with a 25 command, a 25 investigation and a 25 espionage. Keeping spare orgs around that let you swap stats around on agents to get 25 in a stat when you really need it is a good idea. If you aren't significantly over your control point cap, grabbing a tiny nation(1 or 2 control points) that has a low contol point cost with decent economic investment points and then setting 100% spoils really helps with money and acquiring expensive admin orgs to get to 25 admin on your agents. Ideally you're looking for anything with 3.5 and above economic investment points per control point. You will have to do a lot of missions clearing out xenoflora around the world and it is a good idea to clear most of it out however you don't necessarily need to remove all - mostly in large nations belonging to enemy factions like the protectorate(since you are playing the resistance). Allow it to grow and they will need to use their armies to try and stop the growth stopping them from using their armies on other factions. You don't need to be allied to bring armies from one country you control into another country you control. If they are rivals have the little nation remove all of it's allies then set national policy with an agent in the larger nation and declare war on yourself by declaring war on the little nation. That will allow you to invade with your armies to clear out kaiju, flip control points of other factions over to you, and even forcibly integrate them into a larger nation if the large nation has a claim on their territory. Winning a quick easy war also significantly raises a nation's cohesion. In order to put down a good number of bases on the moon then springboard yourself to mars you will want a daily boost income of .2 - .3 per day. The advanced chemical rockets tech has good followup faction techs to help you reduce the time spent sending stuff to other planets as well as the repeatable tech: 'commercial rocket companies' which generates an org that generates a good amount of boost. Arrival markets tech under Arrival economics is also great to get early because you will get 10 orgs to pick from each month rather than 5.
Once I realized level up a character in administration to carry more organizations and focused one character as investigation, one espionage, and one command. Finding enemies, detaining and executing them was way easy. Also, investigation is what is needed to do a crackdown so there is a bonus.
pravus please dont bully the AI too much or they'll just focus fire on you later on. mess with the protectorate or the servants instead. you want to have a few ally by NAP and bribe them with gifts
Currently playing a resistance playthrough. i have control of the EU but i can definitely say that thier are MAJOR stability issues when you unify past a certain point. All i had left to unify with was the Balkan and Scandi regions and i couldn't do it. I had to start casting off countries in order to stabilize.
Especially as a democratic nation you need to keep the resting point of unrest low, so it passively stays low/decreases, as actively lowering unrest via military spending only works in countries with low democracy rating. And apparently low cohesion, low gdp per capita or perhaps even just being too big can all increase this resting point. Also the cohesion resting point probably drops with more inequality and more population and regions, although fighting against that with unity is probably a bit easier, but hurts the democracy score.. Considering you'll probably start with the richer western european countries like france and germany, you'll probably face all those problems together.
@@alexandererhard2516 I cast off the Scandinavian and Balkans but was able to stabilize with West and East Europe. I also unified Yugoslavia because I found that South Balkans had a claim on the North. Then focused on the British isles and space. Going pretty well. But I was late to the space race so I'm struggling to get beyond the Terra system due to lack of resources.
Yeah unlocking the moon mission before all the techs you need to make the moon worthwhile/doable is a no go. Makes the AI do dumb things you don’t want them to do.
Pravus: I will expand to space quickly ! Pravus 10 episodes later: The aliens sent 100 spaceships Cruisers against my 4.5 frigates. Don't expend, research
a rather suitable tactic to have a single agent just keeping on bolstering your main nation aka USA. developing a super power which can really kick those alien's out of the solar system
Canada and the US can form the North American Federation if you research the “Great Nations” tech, but it’s better to unite them peacefully. That way you don’t have to deal with the economic damage that invading causes. Canada is a big economy, so the economic losses can be significant if you go that route.
I suppose you could consider taking over Israel, allying with the US and rivalling Syria, if you lost the previous alliance which you would if you coup'd Israel. Then ship all the US armies to Israel and use Israel to Dow Syria and beat the Syrians and destroy the alien fauna and the cousin of Godzilla.
It can be, especially if you have a lot of research. Being able to pick what techs get developed means you can rush certain parts of the tech tree if you’re looking for something in particular, such as deep space mining.
