There’s a British R&B female group called ‘FLO’ that have just came out very new in the past year they have some brilliant songs that capture that 90’s sound with the vocals/harmonies but still making it sound current would highly recommend a listen guys

So if I’m fact a check that belonged to Tamika was deposited into that account and an investigation reveals that money was spent and not given to Tamika they can most definitely go to jail. I think that was the original issue. She's the only singer. The other two are background singers. Coko said she's tired of doing all the singing.
@@sharon3512 but that’s a decision she made…for years coko sang the lead and they would come in and sing the background or the other 2 wouldn’t be told about the studio session and coko would have to do it. The other 2 wanted to sing more lead and they have a couple songs when they do but that’s all coko and the label. That was one of the biggest issues with them Is because she would sing all the leads and the others didn’t get a time to shine as if they can’t sing lead or at all.
@@reggiemitchell5198 If that's the case why did they break up because Coko wanted to go solo just like Tasha with Xscape. Coko realized it wasn't working for her and went back to SWV. That's what went down.

@@sharon3512 This isn't true though and there's many interviews with the group that explains how this isn't true. All three girls were essentially taken advantage of. Coko knew she sang lead and would do her part, but Brian Morgan loved her voice so much that he would force her to sing the other parts too. Coko didn't want to do that and got fed up. Taj and Lelee weren't screaming to get into the studio during the first album, it was the opposite and in one of their interviews Lelee said that she thought Coko was okay with the set up. They all had issues as 18,19,20 year olds tend to do and in the end Lelee left the group first so Coko decided to leave afterward.
I love SWV. Interested in seeing the Xscape situation unfold. Hopefully they can get along.

LaTocha was jealous of them from the beginning. Now hearing that Tamika was friends with them and brought them to the group it all makes sense now. LaTocha has and continues to be the problem. Sis needs therapy to heal whatever drives her envy and ill intent toward these women.
Tocha said she wasn't originally in the group, but she told them she wanted to be in the group because they needed her harmony.

Absolutely and the fact they allowed the petty to take them down for so many years, with all that talent and those voices......Its apparent that solo ain't poping for none of them, like how many solo songs have Kandi put out that can linger for long periods of time? I am so excited about this show. However, Latocha and what I am peeping about Coko, you can have great voices but still not have a successful solo career. Sometimes, people shine within a group. SWV and Xscape were groups where everyone could sing, so it was never just one person.
I can't wait. I loved both of these group's music in the nineties and still listen today.

SWV is one of the girl groups you have to pay respects to! Along with TLC and Envogue, they set standards and were trendsetters! And personally I don’t think Xscape has a extremely big hit like Weak and Right Here
It’s a proven fact that TLC, En Vogue and SWV were the THREE biggest girl groups of the 90’s. All of the other groups fell underneath them including Xscape. Xscape have 3 platinum albums and was very successful however they never reached the height of success as the 3 groups mentioned, not even close. Tiny and Kandi being on reality TV for the last 10+ years is the main reason why Xscape is garnering so much success and attention now. Had they never done reality tv they would not be a major topic of conversation as they are today. SWV was always apart of the conversation and had already sold close to 20 million records by the time they filmed there first show on WeTV in 2013. These groups are in 2 totally different leagues but its good to see them coming together for the sake of 90’s R&B.

LaTocha is my favorite voice of Xscape, but I'm starting to see she is the problem & now I see why. Kandi, Tiny and Tamika were friends who had a foundation. LaTocha excludes herself thinking she is superior. At this point I'm just ready for her to leave the group officially. Its time because her energy and her husband's BS really is the root of their issues.

I adore ALL of these ladies from both groups, however my girl Coko had major swag and vocals for days back then. Her voice is phenomenal and sends chills through me.
