APAPA LOCAL COUNCIL HOLDS CAROL OF NINE LESSONS

The 2024 Carol of Nine Lessons, organized by Apapa Local Government, was a grand success.The event was attended by the First Lady of Lagos State, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and other dignitaries. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and the spirit of Christmas.
The event began with the first lesson, which was read from Genesis 3:8-15, 17-19. The lesson told the story of Adam and Eve's disobedience in the Garden of Eden and how it led to their expulsion. The reading was followed by beautiful rendition of the hymn "Joy to the World" by the choir.
The subsequent lessons were read from various books of the Bible, including Genesis, Isaiah, and Luke. Each lesson was followed by a hymn or carol, sung by the choir with great enthusiasm and passion. The First Lady, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, joined in the choir's rendition of some of the hymns, adding colour to the atmosphere.
