It was a bright and cheerful day in Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area as the Executive Chairman, Funmilayo Akande-Mohammed, embarked on a laudable initiative to distribute books and other writing materials to pupils, as well as free furniture to teachers.
The event, which took place at the council secretariat, was attended by excited pupils, grateful teachers, and proud parents.
As the distribution ceremony commenced, Chairman Akande-Mohammed addressed the gathering, as she reiterated her administration's commitment towards provision of quality education and conducive learning environment for all.
