By luring them with treats, you're just asking for trouble. That being said, we still love Nepal, and it warms our hearts just how popular socialism is there
Love how the passing by vehicles show how really huge and massive the rhino is. Cameras also undersell how big animals really are, if you've ever been to a zoo, you realized how much bigger they are in real life.
I went to a zoo in Germany once and they had the rhino cage open and it was supposed to be off limits, but they'd forgotten to close it while someone cleaned the cage. I walked in and the rhino looked up from munching it's food, stared me dead in the eye, nothing between us but a few feet of air, and then got back to eating his food. They're surprisingly docile animals if they get acclimated to humans.
I got kicked out of the zoo for playing fetch with a rhino. He brought out a stick and he dropped it out the bars, I wandered into a roped off area, grabbed the stick, and threw it to the back of the cage. The rhino happily grabbed the stick and dropped it out of the cage, then it paused and seemed to want a pet on its nose for good measure. Well, I petted him, he snorted, then motioned towards the stick. Spent the next hour playing with the rhino until a crowd formed and then they kicked me out.

This is in Chitwan in Nepal for those who need the place name. This species is called greater one horned rhino and it is only found in Nepal now as it is categorized as an endangered species. Long time back used to be native from Pakistan to Myanmar. But due to human pressure they are going extinct
It is in India also
❤❤❤❤❤
Wow
He's huge!! So calm and not affected at all by the city around him
He is so calm 😌
🤍🤍
I was expecting it to give birth to Jim Carrey, since it's unlike any Rhino I've heard of. Very docile while surrounded in all directions.
😆
" Don't mind me Mr. Quinn, I'm just a curious little rhino "
LOL! I'm going to have to re-watch that now.
Such a gem...
He could not be born two times.
The rhino is showing extreme restraint. People should understand animals too need space..
Rhino: If i kept calm, they might think I'm just a normal horse
Also Rhino: Proceeds to draw attention from every person he comes across with it's massiveness
This Rhino seems to be very gentle and calm. Walking through the street like a very good gentleman abiding movement laws in the street. No hectic walking. No disturbing. Walking in a straigt line. As if better than human. Wonderful creature. At the same time thanks all the Wise Commentators for their informative comments about Rhinos.

They are so lucky this rhino was very chill. I was expecting a few people to be hurt in their attempt to pet it, they are typically “tense”
I've heard that this rhino was raised by humans
🤗🤗🤗🤗Eu amo Rinoceronte!!! Acho um animal lindo, precisamos cuidar preserva essa maravilha da natureza. 🙏🥰🥰🇧🇷
Crazy how powerful it looks even in a video.
Just an absolute unit
That's the Great Indian Rhinoceros. About 3000 of them live in the wild in India and about 650 in Nepal. Its body looks like it's covered with massive armour plates.
I thought India had two species of Rhinos.
It's not a " Indian rhinoceros" it's a one horn rhino.
Stfu.
It's a one horned rhino. It's native to Nepal
its not indian rhino but a One horn rhino
@@swasg427 It's called Great Indian Rhino
Rhino knows that it's a celebrity here✨
I have seem that Rhino. It is famous in Nepal. Was raised by the army, now it has lost its fear of humans. It is a regular sight. It walks up the street, turns into an hotel and walks through the grounds to a field where it finds its favourite food.
That is the moment this rhino felt very important in his entire life.
Lol.
Unless he can't see the people around him due to bad eyesight
or bothered
why? because of human? loool human deluded self importance is embarrassing
A gentle giant.
@@baham01 sorry for u

Then come and play with our Rhinos am sure they can be very gentle with you
I am glad that the people there respect and care when the rhino enters the human environment, every living creature must respect it even though there are differences in living castes!!!
I mean it depends if you count it as respecting.
Kinda looked a bit like typical human curiosity which leads to harassment
Hoping this peaceful creature gets to be someplace safe, verdant and with his own specie. Props to keeping him healthy.
😍What a beauty. 😂One of those Rhino's charged at our Red station wagon while visiting Lion Country Safari in the early 70'. 😂

♥ A RHINO TRIED TO KILL US TOO ♥ 😍
What a majestic powerful animal! I'm also thinking about the beauty of the people there who protect and enjoy his presence. ❤

Beautiful, beautiful animal, he looks prehistoric, imagine if we lost such majestic creatures 😔
This might be weird for everyone when i say this. Including me. But I'ma say it anyway because i'm jealous because most of them had the chance to pet it.
That is the most adorable thing i've seen in awhile. There. I said it. The Rhino was just chillin'. He was like “Yo, everyone how's it goin'”
This Rhino personifies every Napalese person I've been lucky to meet in London. Chilled, relaxed and taking each day as it comes.

When we were at chitwan, on the new years eve, celebrating.. this handsome tank was running wild down the streets. We were awestruck to see him. ❤ Nepal is a beautiful place to be..

Wow for the 1st time ever see how great and magnifesent is his skin. Doubled ❤️ Huge Monster. I wish long live ❤️
People: This is so cool. Rhino walking down the street.
Rhino: I haven't even gotten my coffee yet...
Of course these people go touching the rhino, they should be grateful the animal didn’t just straight up attack them.
That is one of the most polite and civilized creatures i have ever seen! SURPASSING WITH GOOD MANNERS most PEOPLE I KNOW!!
What ever grass he or she is eating, I need some! So calm and well behaved. A majestic animal!
It's called self control and not drugs xD
he so chilled ,he not only eating the grass, he's smokin a bit too lol
This rhino do meditation and practice yoga daily 😂😂😂that's why he has control over his anger😂😂
A dangerous animal: exists
Humans, getting their phones out: *If dangerous creature's not friend, why friend-shaped?*
While I love animals, unlike others, I keep my distance and respect them from afar.
Especially the bigger ones
This Rhino is a juvenile.
He’s a good boi. Wouldn’t hurta fly.
Very poor eyesight - it probably didn't see you

The Lord is coming back soon, are you ready for his return? Are you dead inside? Or are you alive in Christ? Does your soul belong to God? Have you repented and repented of your sins? Who do you want to serve during your short life? God, your idols or even yourself? Your riches or the Lord? Your passions or Christ? We are on this earth for a short time, and life is only a vapor (James 4:14), soon we will vanish and the flesh will turn to dust. What will you leave your children? Are you living a life that is holy? Because God commands: Be holy because I am Holy, (Lev 20: 7) and he also tells us that whoever is a friend of this world is an enemy of God (Jas 4: 4). Now is the time to believe in Jesus, now is the time to glorify God, to be the light of the world (Mt 5:14). Do not be ashamed of the Gospel of God, because it is only He, the King of kings and Lord of lords who gives eternal life, salvation to those who repent of their sins and believe in Him. Jesus is more than a prophet, He is God made man and left His life on the cross for us, so by grace and faith we can be saved. This is the greatest miracle God has given us, and it's good for you too. God loves you, but sin will not enter His Kingdom. Has the Blood of Jesus Christ washed you and cleansed you of your sins? Are you a son or daughter of the Living God? Confess the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved. BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL AND ABANDON YOUR SIN. THE JUDGE OF THE WHOLE UNIVERSE IS RETURNING. DECIDE NOW TO SERVE THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. Do not harden your heart, do not be insensitive to these words, but let yourself be saved by the Lord Jesus.

nursed from birth for a couple of generations is how you domesticate most species. Excellent job, Nepal!
The Soviet begun experiment shows that domestication may take 90 generations. We need to domesticate other wild animals before we know. BTW, the experiment to domesticate foxes started under Stalin as part of long term research to see if "tamer" humans could be bred.
That's a Greater One-Horned Rhino. Protect him at all costs. Almost went extinct

Ace Ventura: Yeah, Don't mind me I'm just a Curious Rhino.
Impressive animal but there's something wrong with this picture : rhinos shouldn't parade around on the boulevard, this magnificent animal should be in its natural habitat, just like countless other wild animals !!
Where is the habitat though?
This particular one however is used to humans.
It gets fruits etc from local people
He knows what’s there and he walked right in. If he felt danger he wouldn’t.
If he’s getting fed it’s natural for him I suppose at least he can roam he’s not stuck in a zoo
There are Rhinos walking on the streets all the time in Sauraha,Chitwan. They understand humans look at them,no harm, that is why they are calm, locals are used to it,some even feed them.it’s a peaceful understanding between them.
Then maybe you should stop tearing down trees, stop believing in quack faux "cures" or stop making babies if you want animals like these to keep living.
Wow it's fantastic
Usually rhino is pretty aggressive but this one so calm even on the city
Rhinos are stunning, it's like a wizard has animated giant boulders with his staff to stave off evil, they really feel like the creature that would stand between you and an otherworldly beast because it is their duty
