I did the layout and installation by studying the on line videos Husqvarna had on the web ruclips.net/user/postUgkx2KDztGvdU79XTmlqIMSUyPq8CjprGJOR also recommended it When I started the unit it stated it would take a few days to learn all the spots in the yard. So I thought it was just finding the areas till I noticed it was cutting. It is so quite you don't know it is cutting.
Have the excat same worx. It maintenanc the lawn, so letting it lose on this wildness is a problem. Mine also nose dives and gets stuck so a little plaing out is nessary. 😀
I tried to make the video i couldnt find myself before i bought this. Still works well, improved some areas with a shovel and moved the wire a bit away from some hills.
more honest videos like this are needed. These things seem to be like roombas in the sense that you can get out the "real" version of a vaccuum/lawnmower and see instant results, whereas if you watch the landroid / roomba in action its very underwhelming. However, its surprising what the results are when you let them do their jobs WITHOUT watching them. This Landroid cant cut down a dandelion? lol wow
always set to maximum height cut for the first few weeks. This was the issue to stop so frequently. My backyard is the same "moon" scene so if I set it to cut lower worx is always stuck somewhere.
Nice to finally see a video which doesn't just show how it performs on a square flat patch! What about behind or between the bushes leaving narrow paths. How often (enough?) does it manage to get to such remote places?
Yes, thinking about it. I changed to the 5.0ah from the 4.0ah battery also, removing the metal underneath and adding spikes is something i want to try.
Yeah its awesome, once in a while it does get stuck. I bought another on used, just the same. both have worked fine for three years without technical issues other than normal maintenance, changing blades once in a while and removing some grass underneath it and around the front wheels once a month. If you have rough terrain I think its a pluss with a slightly big one like this or similar with some weight on the rearwheels.
It's really horrible that you can hear the torque limiters in the gearboxes slipping so much on the inclines. Shows they basically made them too weak to let it pull itself up the inclines they sell it for. L1500 can do a 35% incline (35cm per 100cm) or 20 degrees. Oddly enough the M1000 can do more and I never hear the torque limiter slip. They are both dumb as doornails though. NO AI what so ever.
After having the Landroid for a bit of time now, would you recommend it? About how large would you say your yard is? I'm looking to mow about 4000-5000sq meters, but my yard is a bit less complex than yours with a lot of wide open areas with no obstructions.
About 1500 sqm, im happy would recommend, maybe you need two-three zones and have to move it between zones. I think 300m is max wire length i have two zones.
Thanks for the quick reply. I have plenty of extra wire so figuring out how to configure the yard will be the only issue it seems. If you haven't already, do you plan to purchase the ACS module for yours?
Well this was some test 😜, no disrespect but your 'lawn' if you can call it that is a bit of a mess hehe, in time I think your robot going to make is better, some water and fertilizer wouldn't go a miss.
@@herskerhans after the abuse that she is getting I got convinced !! I will buy me one ASAP !! WORX should pay you big $$$ for it. Thanks for sharing !!
@@HectorPerez-tb8hn try it with the mounted metal guide under first, but mine cuts better and gets less stuck after i removed it. Im still impressed with it. I bought some blades on ebay to that works great, less expensive than original.
@@herskerhans I did place an order, waiting on availability right now !! thanks again for sharing the video !! that machine will definitely get the job done around my house, flat surface :) and no obstacles :).
Verstehe nicht din Sinn... für solchen Acker ist er nicht konzipiert :/ Und vor dem 1. Einsatz sollte der Rasen mit einem Rasenmäher geschnitten werden!
What you put that Landroid through was wholly unacceptable and Worx robot abuse, no lawn mower of any type, should be treated this way, I hope if it goes wrong Worx refuse to cover repair under warranty.
@@herskerhans I just wish that when you buy the GPS addon it would use that for zone info on your lawn so it can mow more efficiently. However it does not. Buying the ACS also makes it avoid tufts of grass that becomes too tall during a growth spurt if you have 3 days of rain btw. From then on they just grow taller and is avoided more.
Thanks, was good to see what the mower is capable of, for those of us without super flat lawns
Thanks a lot for the video - this "torture-test" is a great and fast learning for me before installing. I think it saved me a lot of time!

You know you’re supposed to cut the grass before you turn it on
An idiot :)
@ 1:50 yes sir, some prep needs to be done like leveling the terrain and giving it that 1st cut !!
You showed use exactly what the company should be showing us. Thank you. All these ninies should do something else. Really... Unbelievable

Thank you for this video, it convinced me to buy a L1500. Will arrive tomorrow. 👍🏻
What do you think of it?
How is the 1500 handling where the grass meets the sidewalk?

hello frend, we have same config.... Landroid and Patrols :D nice video :-)
Really helpful for my purchase.... Thanks
Thanks, i tried to find a similar video before i purchased myself.

Takk for utfyllende svar, jeg har selv noe skråning, hvor den er på ca. 27°, og en på rett under 25°, derfor jeg lurer 😅
You should remove the metal protector located under the robot. That way it will not get stuck as much. And you will save some landscaping.
Ill look into that. I guess it hangs on that on top of the hill.
Plan B Mountain Goats !!
Ça, c'est un vrai test. Merci
Thanks for the upload, but please arrange first your wiring and grass before putting that poor robot on that yard
Supposed to cut the lawn to the proper height with a standard mower first. These are not meant to cut tall grass.
I know. I just wanted to see the capabilities and learn the limitations.
I have a 45 degree angle hill on my lawn. I don’t think it could go uphill.
no, maybe this can?
www.husqvarna.com/no/robotgressklippere/automower-435x-awd/
yeah if it had 4x4 like your RC truck it would be great.
Right! It has these annoying shopping cart front wheels, still happy with it though :)
Awesome! At 7:26 I can't believe it was cutting that!
Don't you have any problems with the lift sensor?
Mine shows errors every 10 metres:
Mower lifted!
Have you already deactivated it?
Probably best to install or start after a fresh cut so it can maintain after that.
yes. thats how it runs now. I just wanted to see what it was capable of.
that mower can be improved a lot with weights in the tires and maybe spikes. I used car weights of 5 and 10g and its a world better
Yes, thinking about it. I changed to the 5.0ah from the 4.0ah battery also, removing the metal underneath and adding spikes is something i want to try.
what's the result after 3 years? Does it still work good on rough terrain?

Maybe they have the same torque limiter and the l1500 slips more with more weight.
du har jo torv overalt bruk de som underlag der den ikke kommer fram.
This would be hard for any robot mower, u should have one with 4wd 🙄😅
Yes, definetly, they are 3 times more expensive though.
@@herskerhans I know.. A friend of mine got a Husqvarna 4x4, super expensive 💸

True, old house with a big lawn. Havent gotten around to do other garden work besides chopping trees and trimming the edge.
Is this available in Yellow?
Là c'est un test de l'extrême lol
how often do you change the blades ? like every other day ?
Every month, im happy with what this machine does actually.

I know, the point is to show what is actually is capable of, i have a challenging lawn.
It’s not a bush hog,
What a mess of a "lawn" you need an excavator not a lawnmower.
Yes :). Cant argue with that.
Very painful to watch , it obvious that mower will not last with you.
Worx robotmower is not good. Front to low. Mower digs into the ground and stops. Do not buy a Worx.
Im actually happy with it digs in, but turns around and starts again. The ones with 4x4 are better but twice the price.

Where exactly do they even state that in their brochures?
I find it valueable to get information what it is capable of. Not everyone lives in plains.
