I think while the art styles are accurate, the expressions for the non-dbz ones are off. He seems almost relaxed/happy in most of them instead of aggressive and arrogant like the DBZ one. If you really want to show a direct comparison, always keep as much of it as you can the same (expression, clothes, pose etc), just change the art style. The One Piece version shows smug arrogance at least, though needs more aggression.

I agree, the thing with DBZ is that it's its own style. Seeing Vegeta drawn in the other styles was weird to me...especially the JoJo one (b/c JoJo's a very pronounced style).

@@leonardoseepaulsingh2625 That's true. Hm.. I wish I could remember an equivalent Naruto character who's expression was closer to the one given for Vegeta. Possibly someone from Akastuki in Shippuden but it's been too long since I watched it.

It isnt really hard sometimes tho. Sometimes he does not change the style but make the character just exactly like another, the kny and op ones are just Rengoku and Zoro

It goes to show how truly unique the DBZ style is, it aged very well (if at all)

I like all of the styles. You nailed them all.
What would've made each one perfect is if they all had a mean mugging, angry look, or somewhat of a cocky grin. Simply cuz Vegeta physically can "unharden" his expressions, even if he wanted to.

I’ve recently started watching anime and the fact that I could guess 7 of your styles before you finished them goes to show how good you are as an artist lol. Awesome skill
What impresses me most is how clean the colors are. I used to do traditional drawing, and clean colors were almost impossible for me to do. There’d always be little gaps my markers couldn’t fill in.
While I'm not overly familiar with _all_ these styles, a lot of these ended up making Vegeta look more like a child. Most noticeably the Naruto one (since I actually know it well). I'd suggest Adult Konohamaru as a reference for a character in their late 20 and that sort of facial structure. (õ∀ó )ゝ
Vegeta's face would look more like Kakashi's or Minato's, that is, a face with small eyes and a larger chin.
@@artflavioaronlopes I didn't intend for it to be a direct-rip of his face, simply a reference to better understand the style when it comes to the adults visage. (Not to mention Kakashi's face is rather illusive). (õ∀ŏ;)ゞ

I think Vegeta would be that ninja in Naruta that has over 100 scars and has a tired, death stare all the time. I expected something like that. Your videos are amazing man.
I'm a little surprised about how many criticisms you garnered in the comments. This is sharp work. While I can see where some are coming from, such as trying to bring his attitude out in the different renditions, I really didn't have any critisisms before seeing the comments.
I was really impressed, mostly thinking two things:
1) You must have a lot of experience and talent to work so cleanly and without much intial structure. A lot of artists I see have a lot more skeleton work, or the like.
2) I can see any one of these renditions looking like it would fit seamlessly in some kind of offical crossover if they ever did one. To do that, and do it so cleanly is so impressive to me.
Not to say that other critiques are wrong, but the way they are written (and liked) just really gave me the impression that they didn't really appreciate the skill that was on display here.

I'm amazed that these were drawn by hand then you colored them by hand. I believed you got them all right. I see people nitpicking in the comments and though constructive input can make you grow, I think the drawings perfectly capture what Vegeta's age, and personality would be if he was the second protagonist in those animes.

The One Piece version really translates well, I think it's the best here extremely well done. Honourable mentions are the Jujutsu one and the demon slayer one as I recognised those easily, MHA one should have been older but a minor nit pick.
Was the demon slayer the one with the red circle? That was my guess, and I’m not familiar with jujutsu but I was able to guess the others.
In all the other styles (except JoJo) He looks so Friendly
Bleach Vegeta has that sinister Aizen look all he needs is that gel to slick his hair back. I like Bleach artstyle so much.

I would have liked a Majin Vegeta picture, then you could use Grimmjow as a base for Bleach, which might have put a different twist instead of the happier Vegeta super has. The other versions are softer, like Naruto and my hero academia. It is the art style. Had a more Grimmjow/Majin Vegeta been chosen, using Stain would have been a better template, as well as other more antagonistic characters. I guess, most kids nowadays see Dragon Ball Super Vegeta rather than the more Evil Vegeta of the Saiyan arc and the sadistic murder of Pui Pui in the Namek ark, or the *eff you Kakarot, I'm gonna beat you up* Majin Vegeta. Vegeta is characterized by his darker side. The Seven Deadly Sins looked almost like he wanted to date someone in his view, while the Demon Slayer one was just another character, not even Vegeta. This goes to show that Vegeta is drawn very well in the Hand Drawn DBZ show rather than any other arty style or anime that is around. Vegeta is Vegeta is Vegeta and our best memories and his best visual interpretation is DBZ. It's nothing to do with the poster's artistic capabilities and no insult to their choices. It is just hard to do Vegeta outside of Dragon Ball Z. Period. You are a great artist. Keep up the good work.

I was able to recognized each art style simply because the artist borrowed the liking of a prominent character in each anime. For example, for Bleach it's Toshiro's appearance, for Naruto it's Hasirama's, for MHA it's Todoroki's/Endeavor's, for 7DS it's Ban's, so on and so forth....Amazing art tho! Props to the artist🔥💯

One thing I love about these is the constant guessing of what anime is going to be drawn I love it
The only two that gave me trouble were the Jujutsu Kaisen one and Demon slayer lmao (and I watch both of those). After losing the guessing game with those 2 I started to lose confidence 😭😭.

Hey, I think you did amazing! Its not always easy to keep a character (or person) identifiable when switching them between art styles! Caricatures artists for example need to be able to pick out what will make their customers recognizes themselves, and not be insulting, and the same goes when switching between animation styles, or art period styles. He dose look a little young in Bleach, but most of those characters look young, so its probably ignorable, or just nip pick.

When you see the DBZ/S, you already know that is the utter most spirit of Vegeta. When you see the Bleach, Naruto and any other Vegeta, you know that the OG DBZS Vegeta is laughing his tail over and mad as ever at the same time. One Piece is the only one he'd acknowledge when he looks into his eyes. What is it with is artwork regarding Vegeta? He must be just a happy person and can't transition him over in that regard. The last one is the very scariest one. O wow.

Very impressive the art itself, but the full effect and attitude of Vegeta can only look like the first one.
The only issue with this is that Vegeta in some cases looks super young and doesn't have that smug look drawn across his face. You did nail the art styles tho so keep up the amazing work bro
