Is that keypad a membrane type or just touch? I’d be worried about that set button breaking through the membrane. Looks like a nice radio though
Yeap it is. Price rising quality falling. One more reason to cross Alinco from shopping list.
Cool tech. Thanks. Wish there was more worth listening to and unencrypted in US cities to make buying one worthwhile.
There is alot
Limited frequency coverage and non tactile keypad.Otherwise it looks promising.Glad you got one Andreas!
Thanks Adam more to learn .
nooo this is the Japanese verison ! you should have waited until the E vesrion comes out because you can't change the Menu to English !
It's ok
Is there more to listen to on digital compared to analogue frequencies ?
Both have loads
Depends on where you are!
Does it have a roger beep?
Lol
First I’ve seen someone with one of these. How much etc
Looks like about $600 on Ebay from Japan. The AOR DV10 referenced goes for about $750 to $900.
@@lostangeles4476I saw it on various groups a few years ago. Guess they have finally done it
Too much money for what is actually does. No thanks
Ok
It would be great if it could transmit in such modes too
Yes be amazing
almost 900$ on Ebay??? seriously? for handy receiver?
Yes it's alot
@HamTechRadioScannerDrones I think i'd rather wait for FTX1F :-)
Firsties!😀
Hi
£500 and no TX wow.
Be more like £800 in uk
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones wow wow
It's a scanner, and it's one of the only Japanese scanner that actually has DMR mode, so it's worth it, especially if you live in Europe.
@pmr446If that's directed at me you can keep DMR, that's one mode I will not entertain.
@LMGGPMG but this scanner isn't just for ham radio listening, it's designed for scanning everything. Most utility channels (security, business, rail,) ect uses DMR now so it's needed for listening.
