    I wish I got to see Hal’s reaction when he found out that Lois saw the baby shuffleboards game. I’m sure he screamed and would say “Lois… I-- I was just-- We were…” and then he would turn to the other fathers saying “I told you this was not something nice to play with the children. Shame on all of you." And then Lois would say “We saw you cheering, Hal, and then claiming the money while calling them all losers.” Then Hal would say “…I was acting.” And then Lois would say “Honey, you’re gonna wish you were Jaime right now because you’re not gonna like what I have in store for you.”

    Hal missed the perfect rejoinder to the loan shark's question;
    LS: "Couldn't I just not give you the money, break you as an example, and get the same effect?"
    H: "Yes, but you can't guarantee that I wouldn't go to the police afterward, and I will definitely be searched for. The money buys my silence on the matter."
    I bet the fella would have taken the deal.

    The dad/baby contest is the most wholesome shit, imagine how much better society would be if parents had more fun with their obligations. I know theyre gambling but that's pretty much always gonna be common place, if it inspires bonding it's still beat the hell out of all the negligent single parent households.
