  • Here is a US M47 Patton tank.
The M47 Patton was powered by a gasoline 810hp Continental air cooled V12 engine and armed with a 90mm gun.
This restored one was recorded during the Nuts Day 2022, taking place in Bastogne Barracks (Belgium).

This is by far the tankiest looking tank of any tank in history. It's perfect.

I can't disagree; I loved my HO scale Roco Minitank when I was young. And I just bought the Artitec, which is in the same scale.

In Austria 🇦🇹 Europe we have 2 M-47 in running condition but they were converted with Diesel engines here from our Army. After they saw it’s too expensive they bought the M-60 Tanks. Now we have the Leopard II Tank. Arnold Schwarzenegger was tank driver here in Graz and he bought the M-47 tank he was driving when he was a young recruit in southern Austria. Now this fully restored tank is in Hollywood in front of his restaurant. Greetings from Linz Austria 🇦🇹 Europe!

Just preparing to build a model of one in the color and markings from the movie.😆
The other tank you see there is also from the movie, the M-24 Chaffee (used as Shermans).

They have one on display at the National Guard armory in Waco, TX. It's the bulldog of tanks.

That one is an M60, not an m47. But same generation of tanks :)

Didn't the Japanese Self Defense Forces use these to battle Godzilla at one point in time? 🦖

Don't know why but I see the m-47 looks almost like the m-41 Walker bulldog, except slightly bigger than the bulldog

M24 Chaffee and the convertible boxy thing is a Bren gun carrier aka Universal carrier Mk 1. This information is brought to you by the 'free to play' game called War Thunder.

M24 chaffee and a Bren Gun carrier. Around 1:10 you see British Grant tank which was a variant of the US M3 Lee.
