Great guide! I'm trying to follow best I can but I don't have much for Matt and I don't have that many points invested in his stream. Do you have any recommendations for someone else that could do a similar role as him in this guide? Thank you!

As for my Matt - I'm not investing into him either, so all I have for him is that low ob Prime Number and I only unlocked as much as I could in HP/HEAL as I could and skipped his other stats and limit breaks. Used only those free Matt memories we got from events and missions, never farmed his Premium memory battles. I used Matt only because he has that free Bahamut weapon that has diamond sigil and Aerith/Zack/Cloud/Sephiroth don't have it and he was my best option. Also his limit break helped me a lot. As for other characters, ideally you want a character with Diamond Sigil weapon and most characters have one. If you have Tifa and her Lifeguard Wraps then paired with free Bahamut Knuckles she can be just like Matt in this scenario - healer and diamond sigil breaker. Barret with Max Ray who has also many useful debuff weapons. Glenn has a Rest in Piece but without Ultimatic I don't think he's ideal for this battle. Lucia has Barn Swallow and could pair it with Mad Minute for matk down. Matt could also be an amazing dps because he has Killer Hornet to break diamond sigils and multiple buff/debuff weapons as well. From those most popular FF7 characters only Tifa has that free Bahamut diamond sigil weapon and Bahamut battle is kinda forcing us to use those less popular characters, which is tricky. Unless you use Barret or Lucia most people don't have many weapons for them and they are dps units so you need their weapons at higher ob level to do enough damage. So in this case healer is easiest to build because you can try to put everything into hp/heal and hope it's enough, so Tifa or Matt seem like the easiest option to build I think.
@End7essness Thanks so much for the response. I wish Aerith had a diamond break lol but I guess that would be too easy. Aerith is my most invested character but it's looking like I may not be able to use her for this fight. I was thinking about trying out Tifa because she has the bahamut weapon like you mentioned. I wish that ruin/ruin blow materia we recently got recipe for had a diamond sigil. Imagine how much easier it would have made everything, we wouldn't need to use specific weapon just because it can break that damned sigil and we wouldn't be forced to use a specific character just because they have that sigil breaker. I don't like how that diamond sigil is locked to just very few weapons which very few characters have. But we can't have nice things and instead those two new ruins have no sigils and are very much useless as utility and can them use only as stat sticks at best. You could try both Tifa and Matt and see if one of them will hopefully work for you. Just depends on what heal weapons you have available. I hope you'll be able to make it work. Good luck! @End7essness I did it! Thanks so much for the suggestion! I ended up using Tifa with lifeguard and bahamut weapon like you suggested! It took a few hours of attempting though because I needed the right amount of crits from Sep and he needed to attack Cloud with divebomb as the others were in danger of dying since I couldn't heal/debuff fast enough for second dive bomb. You are the best! I will tackle ex 2 when I'm level 80 or 85 haha ex1 was a struggle enough. I killed when the enrage megaflare was almost done casting. Talk about cutting it close!!
