Udo super 6 user here. Enjoy it very much - but now in a dillema. I'm gassing hard for the Yamaha Montage M8X, for its controller capabilities, rompler sounds and its fm-x and an-x sounds and debating whether i should sell my Super 6 to help me finance the Montage. Of course they are apples and oranges but i'm wondering how much sonic ground i'd be able to cover with the Montage that perhaps i won't feel as bad about selling the Super 6 - or maybe this would be a big big mistake. What do you think?
Hello. I think it really depends on what kind of sounds you want to create. I personally don't know the assembly. It's certainly true that you can do almost anything you want with a workstation. Another criterion is whether you need to quickly call up different souda or samples live. For me, the Super6 simply has an incredible and unique sound. I've never been so fused with a synthesizer. I don't know why that is the case. In addition, the sound of the S6 is very clear, warm, organic and present in the mix. I won't give him away anymore. I also think it won't lose any value in the coming year. I would recommend you keep him. Unfortunately, we quickly have GAS. Just really think about that ok? No it doesn't, it can receive it, but it is normal channel aftertouch from it's own keys. The UDO Super Gemini has polyphonic aftertouch, not the super six.

Probably the first ""hybrid"" synth which finally sounds like an Analog synth. Those British lads understood what that real mission here is.
