Palestrina was a Renaissance composer, being a fabulous musician in creation of polyphonic music. Although this style keeps the rhythm and melody constants, the musical effect created is amazing. The voices are superb and the direction is excellent. The transmitted sensitivity leads to a deep religious reflection and with an sublime choral support. Bravissimo.!!! Thanks for this magnificent and delight recording.
He quedado estupefacto.
The Tallis Scholars always make the highest impression. So nice that they perform the secular madrigal used as a base for the mass first. You don't hear that so often, since it is a mass and should theoretically serve in the ritual setting, but for a modern recording that serves a purpose of learning, why not?
What beautiful and full-bodied music, bravo.❤❤❤

There is a nice performance of the marginal itself, "Nascie la gioia mia" by Primavera, on youtube. Recommended to go listen to it!
