Beautiful, thanks for posting this!
Minute 3 get begin
Bro, this Palestrina joint got that rizz, no cap . It’s giving Grimace Shake vibes, like only in Ohio could something this snatched exist. For real, it’s straight-up sigma, caught my soul in 4K with those harmonies. Skibidi on a whole new level
We do not need 'fairy stories' to appreciate the sublime beauty of the human voice.
A true master of polyphonic composing It defiantly makes this music more pleasing to the ear
It’s sad to go to church and not hear this type of choirs or see any of the instruments being used to play this harmonically piece.
Wonderful! 🙂
I agree 👍😢
Palestrina defines Consonance ❤😂🎉
One of my favorite Masses by Palestrina.
One of the most pinnacle achievements of humankind. Perfect and profound.
The Tallis Scholars always make the highest impression. So nice that they perform the secular madrigal used as a base for the mass first. You don't hear that so often, since it is a mass and should theoretically serve in the ritual setting, but for a modern recording that serves a purpose of learning, why not?
There is a nice performance of the marginal itself, "Nascie la gioia mia" by Primavera, on youtube. Recommended to go listen to it!
I luv his music. The best ever! Gods music!!❤
Our choir is singing this tonight for the High Mass
How did the Mass go?
Beautiful. Had a relic of Blessed Michael McGivney@@jcers

The entirety of this mass is gorgeous. Of special note to me is the ending of the Credo. My Lord. 🙏🏽
In high school, I was part of the 1987 Florida All-State choir where we performed Sicut Cervus. That was my introduction to Palestrina, and I have been hooked since!
Perfect.
Que profundidad, que solemnidad, que sencillez y virtuosidad. No cabe en palabras para ser expresado.
The song is good for HIstory 10
This is music for the soul! Beautyfull! ❤🙏❤😘😘😘
Viva Palestrina❤
Quanta beleza e sublimidade. Esse "patos" o Ocidente moderno perdeu ....
This is incredible! ❤✝️
That IV-I at 4:36 has never been bettered. Sublime.
magnificent
What does Palestrina's Missa Brevis have to do with Botticelli's "Birth of Venus?"
The end of the Credo (about 10:30)- the polyphony of the last 30 seconds. Such lines- such blend. It blew me away the first time I heard this recording 24 years ago and it still blows me away. It still rings true as the definition of 'ensemb'e. Palestrina and the Tallis Scholars created the best music ever written in this moment. If I could time travel, I would go back to the moment this piece was born and listen to the first performance. To be a fly on the wall, in the room where it happened. In lieu of that, I'll settle for the Tallis Scholars!
Beauty is not reliant on the language. This music is beautiful.

Everybody, don't forget Victoria. A great companion to the music of Palestrina.
Palestrina was buried in the basilica, I will visit and if allowed peace a white rose on the tomb of gods own composer.
Divine music from heaven ❤
in studio apprehensionis quod excedit nos, anteimus nos
Celestial, I'm sure the angels are joining in
Divine musica that sooths the soul. Grazi palestrina
Hermoso!!!
In love 💫🌟🤍
Does anybody know when Palestrina will release a new album?
What a shame that we no longer hear these master works performed even in most large traditional churches. It seems that we have sold out to the cheap and fast musical alternatives. Many churches no longer invest in organs, as it is hard to find competent organists, much less pay them for their education and abilities. Heres to the traditionalists who value beauty and quality!
You dont need an organ, imo Gods gift of the human voice is all you need to produce true beauty in music. Acapella ftw.
Quindi, queste musiche sono state bandite.
Please let me understand what Botticelli's secular images have got to do with Palestrina's religious music - different periods, different geography and, most importantly, different aims...
Glorious perfection! My spirit soars as listen to the awe inspiring music of the Traditional Latin Mass, composed by Masters to reflect the majesty of our God.
Praise the Emperor of Man
