Stephanie Ruhle is great. I watch her show almost every night. She really has done a great job taking over for Brian Williams on the 11th Hour. The Friday panel shows are always fun.
She's great. Tho I love them both on their own but I still miss her with Velshi & wish they'd at least do a weekly or monthly podcast together. I still remember her fury when Velshi was getting racial abuse; she was fierce. She's a real one.
Steph has it all going for her. Smart, witty, honest and gives us the scoop in layman’s terms.
Ruhle has it all, smile, humor, sex appeal and best of all BRAINS!!!

I took my 13 and 14 year old daughters and their friends to concerts to act as adult supervision. I remember taking them to see Sloan when they were 15 and 16 and after the concert they told me "Dad, you don't really need to come to these concerts with us anymore. We are old enough". One of those sad, yet proud moments in parenthood.
Sounds like you're a good dad. But also they probably don't understand the full risk of just being a young woman out in public, so keep going as long as you want.

The coolest of the cool kids need parental presence. The beauty of the thing is, when they shed the superficialities of youth and become men, they'll look at their mom with the greatest love, admiration and respect imaginable, because she is a person of character, compassion and principle.

I didn't expect to admire her for her honesty about her kids. It's refreshing to hear another parent express how much we all want to be with our kids because we don't understand their need for separation. I haven't seen my children in six years, she really choked me up
