With all due respect, him saying these sound in ANY way comparable to some laptop speakers or monitor speakers is WILDLY off the mark. These sounds pretty darn good, and they certainly sound better than any monitor or laptop speakers I've heard. I don't care that they are cheap because that is irrelevant. To each his own, though. If they sound like his laptop to him, I guess they do, but to me they most certainly sound a heck of a lot better than that.
