I have a couple of Vinometers and they work fine for red wines. However I really have trouble measuring white wines. Do you have any suggestions for using the Vinometer with whites?
When I like into this for them to be accurate the wine can't be backsweetened. The hydrometer readings before and after fermentation and calculated result has been the most accurate for me. I have a wine spreadsheet on the channel you can get that does this for you. Good luck!
Bought one of these- worked as expected. It’s a good sanity check to make sure you did the math correctly. All of $8. Why not??
I definitely am using it to check my math, I was hoping it would do sweetened wine.

Are they also good for homemade mead?
This should work for any alcohol, but since I don't make mead and haven't tested it on that, I can only speculate.
