  • This talk reveals how a learning difference led to extraordinary creativity. Is there more we can learn about how individuals with Dyslexia learn? Today, this renowned artist's sculptures significantly contribute to the popular bicycle movement. Robertus Joost van der Wege is a career artist, arts administrator and art educator. Often feeling uncomfortable with reading or speaking in groups for most of his early life, art helped Robertus express his wit and imagination in unique ways. Initially seeing himself primarily as an art teacher, it was during his MFA in sculpture that he began to recognize himself as an artist with something to contribute to the world. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

yup = and we were a oral society - the story teller's were =' the world'. / the news' and if you understand how the EGO works.. the 'real story'...;z) which we all tell. and 'all our stories, we don't realize how much we are all telling our own stories, and, 'helping each other tell their stories'. cuz 'we all have to make our imaginations make up the ends of those stories'. absolutely how life works. & we now we as 'literate societies' think it's true (or we love those people who do)..(children) because it's on a page', which is nonsense.. it's just someone else's story.
good list- .. well.. & ( if your never diagnosed .. *shrugs (yes i mean here in the USA until you realize it on your own because you move out of home at 20 and you have the freedom... lol .. life- is art we make
