FFVIIRemake lost part of the charm of the original because a 3d camera that follows the main character doesn't allow you to see the backgrounds the way they were before. The way they placed the camera had narrative and atmospheric value: you saw Midgar from a bird's eye most of the time, but that scene of Sephiroth losing his mind in the Nibbleheim mansion had a low angle to reinforce how menacing and unstable he was becoming... It's a pity that all of that is being discarded because of the 3d.
@@nickolasroper3237 that won't do you any good in 8 since the enemies level up with you. Its damn near impossible to beat Omega Weapon (or Ultima, I forget which) in Ultrmicia's castle if you max your level out as well.
I do remember leveling up my chars to max level before I ever killed the first boss ifrit (spelling) on the beach with the flying mobs. I don’t remember ever having trouble or killing any boss and in fact, it’s the only game I remember completing 100%. As an 8-9th grader so about 14-15 years old at the time, I spent over 160+ hours game time iirc. I’m 39 now lol. My memory may be fuzzy.
@@nickolasroper3237 oh yea, I wouldn't say it's common knowledge but a well known fact that your enemies will scale up with you but if you're above their base level when you start to then they'll always be a few levels behind you just so the action doesn't get monotonous.
I was expecting that they were going in circles to get encounters, only to realize they had Encounter-none junctioned. but cam angles and scene transitions are hilarious:D
companions funnily tracing exactly every step, "interesting" camera angles, gradual fade-outs during background changes, 2 sound effects for the footsteps, which is the sound you hear the most through the entire game... :) I love FF8 and I loved this video! Regards from Turkey.
