- When I've first tested the Lepanto, she was a crazy powerful tier 9 battleship. But she's been hit with the nerf hammer - twice - since, so let's see what's left, if she's still a decent ship, or if she's been balanced into Soviet territory.

What drives me mad is how ships that had scout plane launching ramp on themselves in real life (which you can even see on their in-game designs) have no scout plane ability, but most fictional/nonexisting battleships like the Lepanto have. WG logic I guess
Ah yes, historical accuracy, where British battleships have paper armour, only Italians can fire semi-armour-piercing, and many other fun things 😁

Keep grinding,Lepanto is amazing even against T10 (except for ships like Smolensk)

the Lepanto and the Colombo are not bad now, but the nerfs made them even more dull and frustrating to play than the Minnesota. The longer reload on the main guns makes switching to the SAP to take out a DD a costly commitment, which in effect discourages you from swapping ammo types (especially now that the SAP can’t pen BB and the poor dispersion makes hitting weak spots tricky, like if even if you aim for bow and stern, the horizontal dispersion makes half of your salvo go into the water), at that point why play a SAP ship, just play Vermont for the same slow reload but higher AP pen, your only comparative advantage comes in when DDs are dumb enough to rush you, which rarely happens these days on high tiers

I stopped playing the game shortly after these BBs were released because of how broken they were. I got killed in my Yamato in under a minute by a Colombo div in like 30-40 games. I'm glad they're not OP anymore.

I still get good service out of Lepanto in Ranked play... I use the SAP & spotter plane in the opening on DDs trying the obvious cap. Especially if a CV can light up the DDs! Good way to smoke one early🤗

the ability to smack a dd from distance is game changing , specially in ranked 5 vs 5
and if ur on epicenter or center control maps , its even worse for dds

I'm on the Veneto, just got it a few days ago. Feels different from her sister ship, the Roma. But it's still good, I'm enjoying it. Despite the nerfs, I still want the Lepanto and Colombo. The fact that Colombo has I think 1 second longer reload than the Vermont and not so punchy guns anymore may feel for many as "not worth it." They're more balanced now (how I hated pre-nerfed Lepanto and Colombo in my Iowa). On a side note, I think you should revisit Musashi, Terry. I got it recently. and I did see your initial review on it, and it got set on fire and flooded like no tomorrow, but I played a few games already and I didn't get set on fire a lot. I also did flood, but then again I did take some Shima torps I could not dodge.

People do get camos for tier 9 since ranked is only tier 9
Yeah ,, What ships of each typewould you Recommend for Ranked 9 bro , current my only 9 is Prince Rupperucth, had a Alsace but sold it for grinding , i want something worth it to grind now
@@sumukhvmrsat6347 hard to say since it really depends on your play style. I've seen people do well in ships that I can't like the Baltimore. For me, I've done well with the Alsace, Fletcher, Minnesota and Ibuki.
I am at tier 8. Can't blap DDs like tier 7 and hard with the amount of CV

Uhm, not my type of ships 😊.
The way sap works in wowsb is different than the one in wows. So, i would rather grind for something else. Moreover, 30s main gun reload time with comparatively shorter gun range and bad accuracy is going to be very dependent on situations for her to shine in any battles.

Oh boii, ranked games are flooded with Lepanto's, I'm telling ya.
Deine ersten beiden Salven haben mehr gemacht als meine Lepanto in einem ganzen Gefecht. Das ist definitiv nicht die Lepanto, die ich kenne. Meine trifft nicht, prall an allem ab, kriegt aufs Maul und der Nebel funktioniert nicht. Von Zitadellen brauch ich gar nicht reden. Denkst ne Ibuki auf 6km mit AP ist easy? Volle, Salve 4 Treffer, 3 Abpraller und 1 halber Pen. Ich weiß mein Aim ist schlecht, aber sowas kann nicht mal ich versauen. Am besten wirds dann aber wenn ich gegen diese Linie spiele dann treffen die pinpoint, tun weh und sind selbst unknackbar. Und deren Nebel funktioniert auch noch. Wollte in meiner Z52 eine CC farmen (viel wahr nicht mehr in dem Gefecht). War vormein paar Minuten zuletzt gespottet und hatte noch recht viel HP. Nebel mich ein bevor ich Schieße und bewegen mich in besagtem Nebel. Nächste Dalve von dem Ding geht blind Richtung Nebel, alle trifft und ich bin tot. Wäre kein Problem, wenn es nicht Normalfall wäre.
Die Linie ist eine reinste Frustation und einfach unfair. Balance ist nur für mich, für alle anderen wirkst russisch.
Ist damit zu meiner absoluten Hass-Linie geworden (obwohl sowas wie Andrea Doria sogar funktioniert hat). Aber das kann meinem Kommentar wohl schon etwas ansehen.
