Just a humble suggestion, do a video on the return of the forward during the 1990s when they had Ablett, Dunstall, Lockett, Rocca, Kernahan, Carey, Longmire, Lloyd and Richardson.

Out-of-bounds on the full rule ...great addition that has been taken too far- defenders should still be alowed to find Touch. No mention of Zoning. Ian Wilson is firmly of the opinion that it was introduced to counter Graeme Richmond's network of Australia-wide spies responsible for the likes of Hart et al arriving at Punt rd. Huddo kicking 150 is mind-boggling. I have vague memories of McKenna being a pop star. Waverley was a terrible idea. I used to drink with Len Thompson. I see 1974 as the beginning of the Modern Era...color telly, no more drop-kicks due to the Barassi edict, Mattwews topped the goalkicking in 75....what a Freak. Greig won two Brownlows hack when it still had credibility, tho he lowered his colors to Wood every time they met. No wonder Tigers were disappointed he beat Bartlett in 74.
I had all of those footy cards from 73-79 It's pronounced "Sack-sie" and without question the worst thing footy has seen. Little-known fact- Don Scott was horsing around after a game and accidentally flicked Crimmins in the testicle with his towel.
@@hanajinks1044 Golden Fleece had the best look of any Service Station ever. I considered talking about zoning, but it was getting a bit over-complicated so I left it out. I like what you said there about Graeme Richmond though! It's interesting what you say about the Brunswick St Oval 'cos when you go past it today it's hard to believe that it was ever a league ground. It's great that Fitzroy still play on it though, and that old grandstand is still bloody beautiful. I don't know about that Don Scott towel-flick as being a little-known fact, it was all around my schoolyard after Crimmo died and my late Dad kept going on about it for years afterwards as well, basically blaming Don Scott for Peter Crimmins' death. The fact is, men of that particular age are prone to testicular cancer. Sam Rowe, Ben Cunnington and lately Bobby Hill of the Giants have all been diagnosed/treated with it in recent years.
