Hinduism is actually a product of 18th century Protestant British Christian missionary work.

Let me elaborate you all...
Hindoo term was exclusively used by Persian and Persianized Turkic Muslims during middle ages.
Examples:- Historian Ferishta exclusively used "Hindoo" through his name.
During the era of samrat Jalal uddin Muhammad balaqab Akbar, a bigger "Hindoostan ہندوستان हिन्दोस्तान হিন্দোস্তান" was made and "Hindoo" identity became a political identity for all males of empire irrespective religions and castes.
During the era of Samrat Muhi uddin Muhammad balaqab Aurangzaib اورنگزیب औरंगज़ेब আওরঙ্গজেব, entity of "Hindoostan" reached to southwards till to present North Tamil Nadu. Thus "Hindoo" literally became an identity of every males of Hindoostan.
So you see, Hindoo identity of Turkic and Afghan Muslims became an identity of everyone during Mugal era!
But when Protestant British Xtians took got the power of Bengal in 1757, then "Hindoo" identity was started to move into other directions.
In British Xtian orient narratives, every Muslim in Hindiyyah/Hindoostan (India/Indostan) is a foreign invader, thus Islam become a foreign religion. They created a term named "HINDOOISMS" means native Hindoostane religions.
So this is how Islam became a foreign religion, and the "Hindoo" identity of Turkic Muslims was slowly snatched away from Muslims and this was awarded to Non Muslim Hindoostanes.
Furthermore the empire who was ruled on the very name of Hindoostan and spread the "Hindoo" identity to common people, was named after "Mogul Empire" for the first time in 1788 officially through a published map of London.
A 18th century map which clearly states, "A MAP of HINDOOSTAN or the MOGUL EMPIRE"
Slowly and steadily British Xtians created Hinduism as a single religious identity just to counter Islam and Muslims in India/Indostan when they officially named after Brahmanism during the early of 20th century.
Even in 1893, there was nothing named "Hinduism" that we find today, except "Brahmanism".
So to answer, why there is a problems between Hindus and Muslims, one should understand everything as matters stated above.
Then why Brahmins hated Muslims? Actually Xtian obliged Brahmins want to put Muslims under the bus!
Some RSS men claim, why muslims are in India when There is a Pakistan for Muslims? ---- to answer them I say, prior to the advent of Xtians in India, Muslims were in power. When Xtians left the political power, they encapsulated Muslims into smaller Pakistan and left vast India for their obliged Brahmins and Brahminists. Credit goes to Nehro-Mountbaten networks😊
