Daffy is portrayed as stupid in this show but he wasn't initially bright to begin with in past iterations of the original run of Looney Tunes. Besides his jealous rivalry of Bugs, in earlier cartoons starring him, he acted like the definition of his name and was pretty mindless when tricking others. It wasn't like how Bugs tricked others. I think with the modern show in this they combined all aspects of Daffy in past iterations to make this Daffy of the Looney Tunes Show. Mindless, unpredictable, selfish and vain.
I wouldn't call Original Daffy stupid, he was just insane. Original Daffy at least knew what financial remuneration was and was quite aware of what was going on around him- he just didn't give two shits
They definitely need to bring this show back.
